Chris sat up and tilted her head to the side as Lilith seemed to go into a rant as to how Seth was....too good for her? It was hard to tell, but there were way too many negatives thrown around in those sentences for it to be anything good.

Chris mulled this over, as she shucked off her shoes and socks. She let out a small gasp as she felt the cool tiled floor against her feet. Hypersensitivity was defiantly something she enjoyed, although the small nagging feeling at the back of her head, reminding her of where the electronics were was starting to get tiring.

"Seth's my friend, and I try to bite him almost all the time now! It's like a game, I don't want to bite him, and he doesn't want me to bite him, but I try anyways, and he doesn't get mad at me either!" Chris grinned brightly at Lilith, showing off her teeth again, before looking to the side.

"Besides Seth needs more friends, I think he gets lonely sometimes, just don't get between him and Calista. He's really irritable with people who interrupt their time together." Chris let out a small laugh there, her skin tingling at the remembrance of itching powder forming in the very air and settling around her when she tried to pull Seth away from his sister.

It was a good thing Chris didn't verbalize her confusion because Lilith was just as confused. It wasn't that she was self conscious, because she wasn't. It wasn't that she thought anyone was particularly better, either. It just seemed to her that Seth wasn't really the type who needed someone else to keep safe. Lilith found herself stuck on these thoughts as Chris gasped after removing her shoes. Lilith wasn't going to ask.

"You... don't want to bite him, but you try anyway?

[/color]" Lilith questioned. That didn't make much sense at all. Seth not getting too angry made a little sense to her since he hadn't really gotten too angry when she'd put her hand near the flame. He wasn't happy, but he didn't make her leave, and he didn't really reprimand her, either. Besides that, they were still friends after that.

"I don't know who Calista is. But I'll keep that in mind[/color]" Lilith agreed. She figured it wouldn't matter if she knew Calista or not- she didn't really plan on interrupting Seth at all. But she was still curious about why he'd be lonely sometimes and need friends while he had Calista. Wasn't she a friend? Lilith's mind left the topic, shifting to names. She planned on asking Seth about this girl. She doubted there were many people that bit him, but maybe there were...

"I'm Lilith, by the way,[/color]" Lilith chimed in politely just for the sake of getting the girl's name in return. She figured last names weren't necessary, so she didn't bother to provide hers.[/size][/blockquote][/blockquote]

Chris scratched lightly at her skin, ignoring the bright red marks that trailed after her fingers. The thought of that itching powder, seemed to have interacted with his skin somehow and she was feeling quite irritated by it all. Unfortunately for the girl, she had managed to produce a small sample of said powder while she was thinking about it earlier. The itching wouldn't go away.

"Yeah, of course I do. I wouldn't want him to feel left out." Chris supplied helpfully as she seemed to roll against the tiles. For some reason the cool smooth surfaces were a great relief to her burning skin, so she tried to maintain as much contact as possible by lying down again.

"I'm Christopher!" She exclaimed, pumping up a fist before letting out a small groan. "And I'm really itchy, have you ever been really itchy before?" Chris asked, hoping that Lilith would provide some clue as to what was going on.

"Oh.. Uhm... I guess that's nice of you.

[/color]" Lilith offered, her tone a bit skeptical as she watched Chris roll about on the tile. It was starting to get to her- she wanted to know why Chris not only rolled the first time, but kept rolling afterwards.

"It's nice to meet you, Christopher.[/color]" Lilith replied sweetly. She wasn't sure she meant it, or if the girl was again messing with her, but she said it anyway and she couldn't take it back now.

"Yeah... When I'm allergic to something... or when I create certain poisons- I didn't, by the way. But I've experimented before. I mean, my power's poison manipulation.[/color]" Lilith offered, sincerely hoping she wasn't blamed for the itchiness for her honesty. She wasn't even sure why she felt like being honest, except, perhaps, that Lilith had a very hard time staying mad at someone who didn't come off as vicious toward her.

"If you're itchy, actually, lemon helps. That's what my dad taught me for mosquito bites.[/color]" Lilith suggested helpfully. She didn't know any other remedies, but itching hadn't really been a problem for her during her life. [/size][/blockquote][/blockquote]

Chris twitched on the floor and let out a desperate moan, as she heard Lilith say that she was a poison manipulator. A dangerous one too, as she didn't have the inherent immunity that was usually a common trait among poison specialists. She rolled around a few times, letting out soft groans, before giving up on the cool tiles as they did nothing for her body.

"You're a poison manipulator?" She asked, wondering how that could be helpful towards one in her situation, slowly being poisoned by what she was assuming was her own creation. A shower, oh how she needed a shower.

She jerked slightly again, a twitch, before attacking her skin with her nails, leaving being slightly darker red lines than she had previously. "Oh, oh, oh, oh, please, please tell me you have some lemon juice?"

"Yeah, poison.

[/color]" Lilith confirmed hesitantly. When she saw Chris digging at her skin, Lilith moved from the couch, kneeling at Chris' side as her hands reaching out to grasp Chris' hands in both of hers to keep her from doing too much damage.

"Please, don't hurt yourself.[/color]" Lilith's tone was pleading. "I don't have lemon juice, but... maybe lemonade wil have enough lemon juice if there's a soda machine nearby. It might be sticky... hopefully it won't be itchy.[/color]" Lilith didn't dare let go of Chris' hands yet, and she wasn't so sure Chris would accept having lemonade poured on her skin. Lilith supposed it would depend on how itchy she was. But if she approved, Lilith had a few dollars tucked into the pocket of her uniform jacket- it might take more than one can judging by the pattern of scratches that were visible on Christopher's skin.

"I... I'll help you pour it on, if you tell me where it itches.[/color]" Lilith added, a bit nervous about the offer she was providing. It was harder to watch Christopher suffer, odd as she was. Lilith couldn't bear the thought of just sitting by.[/size][/blockquote][/blockquote]

Chris blinked in surprise when Lilith grabbed firmly onto her hands. Luckily for them both, the girl didn't have a relapse, managing to get full control over herself, and not get lost in her past, due largely to the painful itching that still tingles across her skin. "Lilith...", she murmured, surprise lacing her voice.

She smiled brightly, wanting to hug the girl, because of such an occurrence, but couldn't break the other girl's grip to do so. Instead she kissed the girl on the cheek, "I, I'm willing to try."

Due to the light kiss, Chris had finally managed to gain enough of a sampling of Lilith that the hypersensitivity had finally died down, making the irritation against her skin that much less noticeable, not that Chris noticed, she just took it as Lilith's offer of help being that awesome.

She stood up, before walking backwards towards a machine, grabbing onto Lilith's hands, "Come on! I saw a vending machine in this corner!"

Lilith smiled in return, seeming to ignore the kiss- or perhaps even approve? In truth, her smile was for the 'I'm willing to try', not the kiss. She didn't bother to clarify. She stood up after Chris did because, as it turned out, kneeling wasn't pleasant in the school issued uniform skirt. Her knees now bore a pattern from the floor, a fact she ignored. When her hands were grabbed, her own expression showed mild surprise as she was pulled along toward the machine. She resisted the urge to pull away or go back to being annoyed by Chris' affection.

"Okay, okay. I have three dollars with me, hopefully they aren't too expensive,

[/color]" Lilith mumbled. It was obvious math- if they were fifty cents, the duo could get more than if they were raised to seventy-five. Lilith was considering the possibilities in pricing and trying to figure out the basic math of how the money would be split if it did end up being seventy-five, or even sixty-five.

"Are you sure it itches bad enough to get that sticky?[/color]" Lilith prompted, her way of giving her final warning about the consequences of what she'd proposed Chris do.[/size][/blockquote][/blockquote]

As they reached the machines, Chris noticed that it felt as if she could impose her will upon them. Not enough to actually do anything, but maybe....She turned around and grinned at the other girl. "Can't you just make some acid and burn through the machine? It really itches." She moaned to Lilith, leaning up against the other girl and showing off her bright blue eyes in hopes that puppy eyes worked on this girl.

Chris wasn't too concerned about the stickiness, after all what was a little sugar between friends. Mmm, nice and sweet, like honey. She licked her lips, remembering that Lilith had a bit of a honey taste to herself as well. Would Lilith work like lemonade? Could she rub up against Lilith and cure her itchiness. Chris let out a giggle, "I'm sure it'll be worth it."

Lilith gave a sigh when Chris suggested that she use acid to get the drinks. That left a mark, but manipulating the machine with her other ability didn't.

"Don't tell anyone. I'm only doing this because it's an emergency.

[/color]" Lilith stated plainly, her tone warning before she looked away from Chris to the first machine. Lilith seemed to just stare at it for a moment, her eyes seeming utterly focused as they reflected back from the glass. Her powers were similar in only one way; she saw them broken down and she manipulated them in her mind before she actually altered them. But beyond that, poisons and technology weren't alike.

Lilith saw a stream of information, from things like where the machines capacitors were, how much they held, which resistors it had, and what color the bands were, to which internal computers and codes they used. After a fairly quick assessment, she was able to determine which method- mechanically or digitally- would leave the least amount of a 'trail' after it was done. So which one was easiest to reverse and which she was least likely to screw up on. It took her no more than thirty seconds to see a clear path to free sodas. By adding a sort of 'master code' to the vending machine, she was able to press a combination of four keys and have soda fall by itself without money.

... She'd never admit that she'd done this before. Not on this machine, oh, no, but what was a free soda once in a while while traveling? Lilith pushed Chris away carefully, stepping toward the machine to punch in the keys c, one, seven, and zero. Seeing as there were only combinations containing a letter and two digits at the most on the machine, Lilith figured it was fine.

"There, free soda without having to leave a cartoon-esque calling card. Where does it itch?[/color]" Lilith offered quietly, not seeming too pleased with herself as she retrieved the first can of soda. She saw no point in getting several out at once- Lilith didn't plan on getting out more than they needed.[/size][/blockquote][/blockquote]

Chris raised an eyebrow, hoping to see Lilith spit out corrosive acid, or maybe some other cool trick, but instead the girl just stared at the machine. She raised an eyebrow, wondering what Lilith was trying to do.

Feeling that the machine would provide more answers than Lilith, as the girl was focusing too hard, Chris turned her attention to the machine. It looked pretty normal, but she stared harder.

The girl bit back a bitter groan a second later as a mass of information resounded in her head, making very little sense to the girl, but it was slowly starting to be pieced together in her mind, until, that is, she forgot most of the details.

Chris let out another pitiful moan, only to blink in surprise as soda popped out of the machine without any money being entered. Technopath!

Upon hearing the question, and seeing the drink, Chris started unbuttoning the large shirt she was wearing, letting it slide down to her elbows and revealing her chest. Turning around she showed her back to the other girl, "Just pour it all over me!"

Lilith hardly noticed that Chris was interested in how she was doing it, much less that she'd groaned after staring for a moment. Lilith found that unless the distraction was really startling, she wouldn't notice.

Lilith's face turned bright red when she saw Chris drop her shirt so carelessly. If she could have had a little time to look away or something, maybe her face wouldn't have lit up quite so fast, but she didn't, so it colored almost instantly. She could have turned down the lights, but she settled for making the television shut off, minimizing some of the light in the room, though not all of it. Mercifully, Chris turned fairly quickly, easing a little bit of the embarrassment Lilith experienced and keeping her from needing to surround them both into darkness. Given, the temptation to do it anyway, even if she was just exposed to her back, was there.

"Oh-ohkay...

[/color]" Lilith's word escaped as more of a breath. She tried to focus on just pulling up the tab on the can, opening the soda. It took a few moments of hesitation before she committed and started pouring the contents of the can slowly down her left shoulder first.

"I hope this helps...[/color]" Lilith murmured, her tone nervous as she watched the sticky liquid flow from the can. It seemed like a bad idea as the Minute Maid yellow liquid fell against her skin. For all she knew, it might not even have enough real lemon juice to do the job.[/size][/blockquote][/blockquote]

Chris let out a loud gasp as she felt the chilled liquid touch her warm skin. She moved forward in reaction to the cold, causing the liquid to splash against her lower back before she let out another gasp. Luckily, Chris remembered that this was suppose to be for her own good and leaned back into the cold liquid as Lilith emptied the can.

Surprisingly, the girl felt a lot better. Unknown to the both, but due to Chris's low capabilities with the borrowed powers, the powder she produced wasn't strong enough, or potent enough to irritate the skin but through direct contact, and was easily washed off by any liquid, the lemon juice just made things sticker.

Chris let out a small giggle as she stepped in the puddle of yellow liquid. "I sure hope no one comes in, this'll be hard to explain." She said simply, turning around and grinning at Lilith. She started buttoning up her shirt, uncaring about the fact that her shirt was wet from the lemonade.

"Thank you sooo much. How can I make it up to you?" She questioned, for once not bothering to latch onto the girl. Without the hypersensitivity to make her desire human contact, and not particularly interested in Lilith's powers, as they had already backfired on her, she'd be willing to keep her distance. Although, Chris grinned, a kiss or two for that hypersensitivity would be more than desirable.

Lilith was tempted to stop pouring when Chris gasped. She was even more tempted when Chris moved away. But she supposed it was her choice if she wanted to move away. She even moved back on her own.

That was... easier than she suspected. Lilith held the can upright once the liquid stopped flowing, signalling that it was empty enough.

"Yeah, just a little...

[/color]" Lilith agreed, her gaze falling to the puddle Chris was standing in while trying to specifically ignore how wet her shirt was. She actually couldn't imagine explaining this one away to anyone, but her mind was now stuck on what could possibly go wrong if someone did walk in.

"Oh, no, don't mention it. No need to thank me or do anything.[/color]" Lilith raised both her hands, the one holding the can and her free hand, to wave them slightly in objection to the suggestion. It was relieving at the very least not to have an immediate hug of appreciation from Chris- Lilith did notice the absence of such an action.

"I'm just glad you're feeling better.[/color]" Lilith added. "Now...we can do something else. I can change the movie if you want.[/color]" Lilith suggested, figuring it was safer to distract Chris to prevent any further affection.[/blockquote][/blockquote][/size]

"How about a kiss?" Chris asked, thinking such a small action would do wonders for both their moods. Besides, Lilith's taste was quite delicious, and even though she wouldn't get much from the kiss, the feeling of it would be more than enough to satisfy the girl. She grinned, and walked closer to Lilith.

Unfortunately, Lilith had started walking to the couch, so Chris's attempt to corner the girl, simply seemed as if she was following her to the couch. Accepting this as the due course, the girl just gave a small grin, before plopping herself down on the seats as well and looked back at the screen.

"Ohh, do you have any gore movies? Those are my favorites." Chris stated, rather elated.
