Frowning softly she watched as he wiped away some tears. "It might be but isn't it weird when you meet anyone new? Especially new family members?" She gave a sad smile and shrugged, "Or that could only be me..." She felt really bad for poor Ren but suddenly a thought struck her. "Does Cassy know?" If Cassy knew then what she was thinking didn't really matter but if she didn't well maybe Ren could check out his other sister before so at least he didn't have to put little Cassy through any of this. Then again she had no idea what his sister was like after all she could possibly handle this better than her brother.

The sad look in her eyes stayed as he continued to go one. "So maybe she'll come next year when she's old enough." Then he started crying and her eyes widened slightly. Not knowing what to do she scooted over to him and placed an arm around him. "Oh Ren it'll be okay... it's alright to be confused and if you're meant to meet her than you will. You shouldn't get upset over something like this..." Bridget really had no idea what to do at a time like this the only thing that came to mind was a change of subject. So she said the first thing that popped into her mind, "Ren? What's your favorite animal to talk to? Like not on the island anywhere." trying to get him to think of something else though might be a bit harder then she thought.

Ren sniffled as he heard Bridget mention it's okay to be upset. Although, Ren was pretty upset feeling at this point, and nothing seemed to feel worthwhile to him. "I don't know anymore... Why I'm so useless... Not even my powers are useful..." He choked on his own words as he continued crying.

In all he didn't seem to hear the question she asked as he kept weeping. He felt pretty miserable, no wonder Cassy called him emo sometimes. "Do you think I'm cut out for anything good?" He asked while sniffling lightly as his weeping died down a bit. This just wasn't his kind of day today.

She shook her head rubbing his arm slightly. "No, no you're wrong! Talking to animals that's soo cool and that's great for getting information. Isn't that why you came here? See you know stuff no one else does!" Though he didn't seem to be listening she still had to try and get him cheered up even though she still had no idea how. But she knew that he wasn't useless after all no one was completely useless! Now the only issue was to get that through his head. This might provide a challenge for her.

Sighing lightly she nodded her head. "Of course i do! If you weren't useful then wouldn't be here and think about Cassy! I'm positive that you are a wonderful big brother to her. She'd be lost without you!" Even though Bridget didn't know the young girl she had to say something to make him sound like he was already doing something good. Being useful to someone. Now she only hoped he would completely stop crying after all he had quieted down somewhat.

Ren couldn't stop crying even still. He felt so down all of a sudden, and crying in front of people was just embarrassing anyways. He didn't know what to do now and he just felt like such a bother on Bridget. "I just feel like I can never be fully useful. I'm afraid Bridget, I don't want Cassy to grow up, I don't want to lose her, but..." He muttered out as he continued sobbing.

"I just... Can't take it..." He continued sobbing. His emotions were just running so high right now. He wasn't cut out for life as he figured he knew it, he felt like he couldn't do anything right. Not even going on a date was easy for him, but he still wouldn't let Sasha down. He said he would, and that was that. Plus he had no heart to disappoint people.

She really just didn’t know what to do anymore. It seemed anything positive she said just went right over his head or he turned it into some other thing to depress him. Bridget was starting to get depressed just listening to him! Guessing that it was fear all close siblings had that the other would grow up and leave them Bridget tried to form a responds in her head. Sadly it wasn’t working. She didn’t have a sibling like this and wasn’t sure how to respond to his endless crying. That’s when she turned to her own past when she blew up on her father, tears and yelling for sending her friends away and what he said to her.

Switching her position she kneeled down in front of him. “Ren.” She stated looking at his tear stained face all softness in her voice gone. “Shut up and listen. You aren’t going to lose Cassy, she will grow up but if you’re this close now you’ll still be if you keep talking through your lives. You do have a point in life and don’t go breaking down just because you’re afraid. Did you hear me? You can take all the trouble life throws at you, if not for you then do it for Cassy and anyone else close to you.” Hopefully this would work because the last thing she had left was smacking him awake and she really didn’t want to do that.

Ren sniffled a bit before taking some breaths. "I'm s- sorry..." He said, wiping his eyes off and slowly breathing to further calm down. He felt himself starting to settle, so that was good. He was in all just a big crybaby, but he was happy people could help him out. He sniffled a bit before fully settling down.

"Sorry you had to deal with that..." He murmured to her. He looked down shamefully, not daring to look her in the eyes. He further wiped his eyes from the damp tears. He sighed deeply as he regained his full emotional control. Now he felt somewhat better at this point anyways.

She smiled at him happy that he was finally calming down. Breathing slowly... yea that would help. Why hadn't she thought of that? well telling it plainly she just didn't know what to do at the time and that thought hadn't come while trying her best to calm Ren down. As he looked down she couldn't help the half smile that appeared on her lips. "Hey no problem," Bridget said quietly before ruffling his hair. "Don't worry about it stuff happens." She stood up and stretched trying to come up with something to do. Maybe get out of this place after all just the rooms in general were pretty depressing. "So whatcha wanna do?"

Ren thought for a moment for an idea to come to him. That is when an idea did hit him, he was gonna get her outta here early. "Well, I know it would be too early, but I'm gonna get you out of this place. I owe ya one anyways, so getting you outta detention early could work." He said more happily now.

"Okay, so there might be people watching, if they see us then say I was bringing you to the main office as an escort. The reason is for the fact that you are currently acting in a dangerous way. The prefects should have to believe that, I don't wear their badge as I am a Battle Front, but it should be easy." He finished up his idea.

"Alrighty," Was her responds right away with a smile on her face. That smile was there since he was now seemingly pulled back together and over all happier. And so she didn't ruin that Bridget failed to mention that she could have gotten out of here really anytime. Still it was a nice gesture and one she was glad for. She listened to him carefully and had more of a serious face on. His plan was pretty good and when Ren mentioned he was a Battle Front her head tilted slightly. "Sounds good to me. And you know what i was looking to join the Battle Front," She gave him smile and started towards the stairs. Standing at the base she nodded to him. "Should you go first or shall i?"

"The Battle Front, if you join then you should feel proud of yourself." He said smiling with a nod. He then creaked up the stairs of the musty old prison and cracked the door open. Frankly the thing was as bad as the basement in quality, so it ended up flat on the floor. Ren flinched when the door fell.

"Well, I guess we can go now then." He said simply, hoping nobody heard the door fall over. "They might want to get some duct tape on this though..." He said looking at the open frame. He entered the hallways and took a nice shake to fling off any extra dust. "Well, guess I'll be seeing you around?" He asked.

With a shrug Bridget said,"Hey do what I can right?" It was awesome to finally know someone in the Battle Front after all it wasn't as if she could just walk up to anyone and say 'Hey are you in the battle front?' something told her that doing that wouldn't be the smartest move. Fallowing him up she flinched as the door fell down. Quiet… quiet was key in all early (or otherwise) escape and making a door topple down wasn't exactly quiet. Oh well it looked to be in craply condition anyway. "Yes because duct taps fixes everything." that's what everyone always said now she had seen it fail to fix a few things. Fallowing Ren's lead she shook out her hair once deciding on a shower later tonight and turned back to him. "Ehy thanks for letting me out but yea see you later." she gave him a smile and a wave before walking off.
