Elysia stretched and yawned as she buttoned her shirt all the way up. Another fun night of "patrols". Everyone knew that Elysia often used patrols as an excuse to go to other people's dorms, but at that point, no one really cared.
The last battle had been a brutal one and many of her usual acquaintances were too injured to do anything. She winced, a frown forming on her face. Even though it looked as if the blonde was brushing it off, Elysia was affected by the battle. When it had happened, she had managed to get away with only a few injuries, but others hadn't been so lucky. Gabriel. She thought to herself. Both sides had been so severely damaged, they were hanging on by a string. So many people were dead...people she actually cared about. Most people grieved and sobbed, but not Elysia. She distracted herself, she let herself get lost in her usual 'hobbies'. If she didn't, she didn't know how well she'd be able to hold herself together. She wiped her eyes with the back of her hand. There was no point crying now.
She removed her key from her pocket, unlocking the door and pushing it open. It had been a long night. Glancing around the room, Elysia rarely ever stayed the entire night in. She had almost forgotten that she had a roommate, a really cute roommate at that. The girl was an artist, and Elysia had occasionally posed for her. She could see a person shaped figure on one of the beds and a coy idea popped into her mind.
Silently, she closed and locked the door behind her (Elysia was an expert at silently sneaking in and out of dorms). Her totally cute roommate lay asleep in bed. Elysia slipped off her shoes and jacket, tossing them onto her bed, as she silently slipped next to Autumn, wrapping her arms around the other girl in an affectionate hug. In the dark, a small smirk displayed proudly on her face.
