Basics
Name: Rex
Nicknames: Red King, Human Rook.
Age: 17
Birthday: Jan, 16th.
Grade: 11th
Power:
Enhanced Strength (Main): To put this power simply, Rex is able to lift things ten times his own size and wight, and throw them a considerable distance away. Now, to put things in a more advanced perspective, Rex is able to distribute power throughout his body, mainly legs, feet, arms, and hands. His benching power is strong enough to lift 2000 KG's (A little above the average wait of cars), however throwing it only a few feet away, while lifting smaller weights, result in longer throwing yards. His real strength in this power, is in small bursts, the biggest example of this is in strikes during combat where the power is most devastating granting him the title "Human Rook".
Enhanced Reflexes (Main): Though the power did help with a major boost to Rex's Reaction speed, the majority of his fast Reaction actually came from growing up in a Do or Die kinda lifestyle, where you had to be quick with your discussions, and you had to be very cautious of your surrounding's at all times. This power is most useful in hand to hand fights, and most useless against weapons/powers of great speed as he can only dodge, and react to things hes able to perceive, which is why in fights he is able to dodge a large majority of close up blows, and retaliate quite nicely with one of his own.
Peak Human Intelligence (Sub): While this may come as a surprise, it really shouldn't. Rex, being the leader of a huge gaggle of misfit kids, and orphans with many ages in his rank, had to be able to adapt, change, and grow with changes as well as be responsible for his underlings. This kind of pressure normally makes a person do one of two things. Break down, becoming completely useless and broken in thought. The other option, Rise Above, being able to take what was dished out Rex adapted, and grew rather intelligent throughout the experience. To be frank his smarts lye in smarts in the streets, and smarts on the battlefield, both on and off it which is why he was nicknamed both the "Red King" and the "Human Rook"

Appearance:
Rex stands tall at a whopping 6'1 ft, and a healthy 142 Lbs. He has a healthy light tan to his skin, and seems to show no imperfections, except for light creases that fall under his eyes. The most notable trait on him would be his amber eyes, and red hair which is normally styled spiked up, with two strands that fall lazily over his face, and noticeable sideburns. He contains one pricing, which is shown on his right ear, near the upper part of his lobe.
While other leaders normally changed, or kept with the style, Rex seemed to stay consistent in his attire, wearing a rather plain, and bland set of clothing. On top, he wears a black leather jacket with a fur color, with a white V neck underneath. Below it he wears blue worn jeans, held up by a simple brown belt, and sported with a silver chain attached from his belt loop, to his back pocket. He finishes this attire with black shoes. He does tend to sport some jewelry with his attire, including a single silver ring on his left hand, spotted on his index finger, and a silver cross neckless worn around his neck. A silver bangle can be seen as well once he fights, as he takes his jacket off during combat. The silver bangle is located on his right arm.
Personality
Overall Personality:
Rex is a very to himself, lone wolf kinda guy. He tends not to talk to anyone, tends to leave any group that forums around him, and generally gets away from any friendly talk towards him by ignoring it. He might once 'n' awhile talk with someone who's persistent enough to stick with his cruddy attitude, but the conversation is normally one sided, with small remarks made by him depending on the topic. Though this is the case, he isn't the rudest guy out there, sure ignoring people is rude, but if someone is seriously in need of a conversation with him, or bugs him enough to get him talking, they would notice that his words don't normally come out as harsh, unless a sore spot is hit. He normally comes off as more bland or bored, but behind that tone some emotion can be seen, though only in the right light.
Now, Rex is no evil dictator, power hungry type ruler. In fact, though looks may deceive this, he is a rather caring man, normally towards his crew, and a select view that earned his trust. It's said that his caring and trust is so great for his gang members, that in the five years that he was leader, not once had he been overthrown, or had problems with rebellion. Showing that his gang members all respected him, and revered him highly.
It was stated many times back home that Rex was a very capable leader, with the fighting power, and smarts to run one of the leading three gangs. Rex has supported this many times through his actions, knowing full well when to drive fear into the enemy's hearts, when to show mercy, and even the most important, when to not get involved, even when pushed, and pressured by his own, and others. He hasn't only shown wisdom on the battlefield, but within his own home as well. He's been known to read, and understand people rather clearly through few interactions with them, knowing how they will act through reading there emotions, and actions.
Though Rex has kept, and retained most of his personality, he has started to show more sadness, and all around isolation. Showing that without his crew hes become more void, and has trouble figuring out what he needs to do in life. He knows that he can't break down, and needs to return home, but being shown everyday that escape is impossible, and hearing rumors that going home is near impossible has really shot down his spirits, and created a huge emptiness inside of him lately.
To define Rex, is like defining what happens when a wolf is out of it's pack. Tough, cool under pressure, and seemingly a lone wolf...But on the inside, scared..Confused, unsure of what to do, or where to go next...Lost.

History:
Rex's story actually has good heart...In just the wrong places. Rex's mother and father were both low class citizens, working in a very rundown and dangerous place. Though this was the case, he didn't live in a broken home. His father never drank, and his mother, though having to work two jobs to keep food on the table as well, never complained. There marriage seemed golden, with a connection that anyone would kill for...So when that terrible day happened , where Rex's mother and father were both murdered while Rex was still at an amazingly young age of two. Even sadder was the fact that no one in either family seemed to be able to take care of the young tyke...And he was forced into a very rundown orphanage. However, the caretaker, for all the slack she got, loved each and every child she came to take care of as her own. When Rex came to live with her, she made sure Rex would never know what truly happened to his parents, in a way of keeping there memory, even if a bad one, alive and fresh in his mind, instead of having him break down at a young age.
Now, normally this would be an open and shut kind of story, sure it's sad but plenty of people go to orphanages, and sense Rex was basically raised in this orphanage, he was never switched out. So what makes this story more interesting, well..At a surprisingly young age of six, Rex learned, and somewhat discovered that he was able to lift things other little boys could only dream of lifting. At a young age he was lifting two little boys at the same time with one arm! He was so happy with his gift, that he didn't notice how much it could hurt others, until just a year later when a group of kids moved into the orphanage, bullying other kids, and all around reeking havoc. Rex, getting angry with the boy for teasing him about not even meeting his parents, shoved the boy...And in turn, the boy flew, slamming hard against a wall, which caused brain trauma. It was then that Rex started to learn what his powers could do...And that though made him mature quite fast..This power could take lives, and that wasn't something a child needed to have.
Now to fast forward a few years, to a preteen Rex who at this point came to terms with the fact that his no good parents left him at birth, and that he lived in such a shitty home. It was around this time that Rex really started to get into crime, and understand how gangs worked, see with his powers even at a young age he was able to impress a lot of big names, and hotshots down there, and sense he was raised, and played on the streets for so long he knew how to keep himself in and out of trouble within them, while also learning about various things from them. The things he found most fascinating however...The skills, and responsibility's as a leader. The ability to rule over people, and mostly protect them with your power..Not hurt them, something Rex needed to know how to do...Badly. He found himself wanting to become a leader, wanting to be someone who could protect people as easily as these men protected there friends...And, sadly, his wish would come true faster then he expected.
Fast forward only a few years after he began doing crime, at the young age of 12 the women who ran the orphanage, and became someone Rex's was able to call mom passed away. She had reached a whooping age of 102, and just couldn't hold on any longer to see her sons through to a nice loving family's. After saying her goodbyes to her sons, and making them promise her they'd stay a family, she passed away, and was carted out of there the next morning. Devastated Rex nearly broke down right there...However, for the sake of his friends, and his mother...He allowed himself to do a dangerous thing, and locked that emotion away, sealing it tight deep inside himself, and rising above it, and with his mind cleared, he came up with the only solution he could think of...Making the orphanage, and the rag tag bunch of teens, and kids inside...It's very own gang.
At first...It had a lot of problems, many of which came in the inexperience of his own group, which of course made sense, but another major part was the groups that tried to move in on his turf quite quickly after they were formed. To be honest, if it wasn't for Rex's powers, and the higher up friends he had made, which were betting that a gang made by Rex, could become a useful ally, Rex would have died with his group a long time ago, however he pulled through the hard five years, and at the age of seventeen, grew his collection of kids, into a huge, rival gang, able to withstand some of the biggest names in crime, and sense his gang viewed anyone who wanted to join as welcome, he was considered not only the youngest, and quickest to power gang leader, but also the most benevolent, of course only to the people he trusted, as he had created another name for himself as the red king, or the crimson king being able to be completely kind, or...Completely evil at times.
Now, this normally would be a good time to say open and closed book, and skip ahead till he became number one, or died, as stories like this normally go...However, this story deiced to take a rather common..And rather sad turn. Still during his fifth year as leader, a male named Jason joined his gang, who seemed to have gone through the same things Rex went through. His family was dead and gone, his parents left him at a young age, and he even had powers as well. Because of this Jason easily grew in ranks, and even easily becoming one of Rex's best friends...So the day when the Government came banging on Rex's door, and he was invaded by a small army of forces, all prepared, and loaded, and finding out that they came after an already brutal battle with another gang almost on cue, he knew that something wasn't right...That someone...Was a rat, and that this one stupid act of befriending one man...Shut down his strong Gang from the ground up. So..In order to fix his mess up...He offered himself to the Government without a fight...No fists, no guns, no calling for help..He just..Gave up...In exchange however..They had to leave his family alone. The deal seemed shaky, but in the end a war wasn't something they looked forward to, and took in the complacent Rex without so much as one gunshot. The last thing Rex saw before heading into the truck, and being shipped away...Was Jason...Saluting a higher officer.
