Okay...gonna try and keep this one fairly simple. One look at Misaki's profile will tell you. This girl needs a hug. Badly. To sum it up, Misaki had parents who basically hated her and only raised her out of obligation...all while actively going out of their way to treat and make her feel like she's worth less than garbage. Add to this the fact that she was constantly being bullied due to a mental condition that makes it extremely hard for her to work with numbers (kind of the mathematical cousin of Dyslexia), and we have a rather timid and pathetic girl who has abysmal self-esteem and, due to the fact that the majority of her bullies were boys, a mild fear of men.
For the most part, she's a sweet girl, but she's never had a friend before, so she's incredibly shy and awkward when meeting people for the first time. She has trouble opening up to others because of this. At the same time, however, she can be a bit on the clingy and dependent side whenever she does manage to open up to someone. Basically, the closer they become, the clingier she'll be. Also, because of her fear of men, she vastly prefers the company of other girls. That said, she's prone to easily developing a crush on another girl if they're especially kind to her. Unfortunately for her, she tends to be terrible at hiding her feelings, which makes it especially hard for her to hide her feelings...it would take an especially epic level of obliviousness for someone not to notice it.
So...what am I looking for? Simple. Someone to be Misaki's friend, and give her the support she needs...without overwhelming her and making her uncomfortable. Some patience may be required, but if someone were able to help the girl to open up, even if only a little, then she'd be able to take some huge steps toward gaining some confidence in herself. Also, a girlfriend would be nice. Wouldn't have to be anything instant. It could start out as a friendship and gradually develop into a romance. Or it could be a "love at first sight" deal. I'm not picky. Either way, it'll have to be a girl...I'm a yuri fan, I can't help it >.>;
Either way...yeah. Due to the aforementioned fear of men, anyone with a male character will have trouble getting close to her. It's not so much that she dislikes males. She knows deep down that not all of them are as bad as the boys who bullied her when she was little. Still, it doesn't make the memories any less painful, thus she gets incredibly nervous when she's around them. If forced to interact with them, she'll try to be as polite as possible, but it'll be fairly obvious that she'd much rather be somewhere far away from them.
One last thing that I should probably mention is that she absolutely loathes her own powers. Because of them, her parents were badly injured after she briefly snapped and lost control of them. Even though they were far from sympathetic, she still feels terrible about it. Needless to say, she'd feel even worse if it were to happen to someone she actually cares about. Hence, she uses them as little as humanly possible, and will avoid the subject if it's ever brought up...of course, if someone pressed the issue, she'd cave in rather quickly and tell them about it anyway, but that's beside the point.
Either way...yeah. That's pretty much it. If anyone is interested, feel free to post, and maybe we can arrange something.
