Greetings to all those who are reading this post! I have a few suggestions as to where this site will be headed as far as Proboards version 5, and getting this place more active. Read on if you like, but this is more directed to the Staff team. Everyone is welcome to comment, however.
Anyway, first things first, let me start with PBV5. I believe that when CTB is forced to move to the new version, instead of having to go through the chaos that is V5, you can make a separate link/site on Jcink. I have used both PBV5 and Jcink, and I am more than willing to provide my services. Jcink is much more similiar to Proboards version 4, and even though it is quite different, I think it is much easier than V5. Although, if you would like to stay with Proboards, I can still help with that.
Second, I have noticed that, yes, people are active, but not a lot. So, I suggest the following: advertise. Big sites are made with excessive advertising, especially on other big sites. Affiliating is even better, because it's a permanent ad right on the main page. I can do a lot of advertising/affiliating in a short period of time, and I know a lot of the bigger roleplay forums we can do it on. However, there is nothing wrong with remaining a small site, with close people. If this is how you like it, than there is really no problem.
