Power:Illusion Manipulation.
With her large imagination, she can conjure up Illusions at her desire. If she wishes they produce noise, they can, but she has to know what kind of sound, and the sound has to be clear. She cannot make the illusion of earthquakes, but she can make the Illusion of thunder and lightning, and a bit of rain. That Illusion works when it doesn't touch anyone.Mental Manipulation.
The user can manipulate, modify and control the thoughts, mindsets, and upper brain functions, allowing render others unconscious, suppress their memories, and negate the use of abilities, increase/decrease mental capacity, modify minds to be agreeable, sway sensations to induce altered perception, bestow mental disorders or break down mental barriers
While it says all that, Karen can't do all of that. She is able to rend them unconscious if she has contact and is focus enough, she isn't that focus so this is something she can rarely do. She can suppress memories, and usually those who catch her, she will suppress the memory. She cannot bestow mental disorders, but with a bit of help she can break down mental barriers. Besides that, she can't do much else.Sense Manipulation.
Karen has complete control of her senses, sight, smell, hearing, touch, taste. While she freely can manipulate them, reduce, remove them or even enhance them, she has control over her own, but she can also control other's. Though in order to do so, she has to come in contact with them for at least ten seconds, or it will not work. It isn't permanent thankfully, the fullest length of time is around a week, she cannot lengthen the time but she can shorten it.

Appearance:
Karen is around 5'5, around a slightly above average teen, which she is thankful for. She knows what being short is like, and hates it! What she wears usually varies, at times she can have heavy clothes, or light clothes, but either way they are always dark colors. Allot of times she usually has a black jacket with fluff on the inside, shorts and sandals. She absolutely hates shoes, so the best thing she can wear is sandals. Though being a bit of a delinquent, she has two earnings and ear cuffs on both sides, they don't have meaning, she just thinks they look cool. But of course, she has a bit of a secret. On her back, she has a tattoo, For that reason, she keeps her jacket on. Though at times she really doesn't care and shows it freely.
She has short brown hair, long hair is a pain. It's hard to maintain, get's in your face, and will only slow you done eventually. She always keep it short, but often in different hairstyles, sometimes she even wears hats. A lovely combination, she has blue eyes that are clear as a waterfall. She takes pride in this, but at times it also attracts unwanted attention.
Though not wanting to get in trouble when she sneaks out at times, or pull pranks, or even goes on mission, her disguise is an odd one. She keeps a tight tanktop on, just so it never gets caught on something. That ruins everything. The only thing loose would be the black cloak she keeps with her, just in case her mask falls off. Yes, she keeps a mask. It's a black mask with grey-blue markings, this mask cost allot for being so simple... Besides that, she keeps regular short and combat boots. Heels would ruin everything, and she is afraid that sneakers will just come off.

Overall Personality:
Karen is a huge tomboy; after all she is from a family of all males. Having literally known friends, the best she has is her brothers that are quite manly to say... They play all those boy sports, baseball and football, making her to join of course. She has no feminine features besides her body; she'll even burp in public if she needs to! Gaining her father's stubbornness, she refuses to do anything else once her mind is makeup. Get an A+ on the quiz? You bet she'll study her butt of to get that one A, besides that, she isn't really smart... Street-smart yes, but book-smart, no, not the smartest cookie in the cookie jar to say. She usually fails her tests, and because of that, teachers gave up on her, making her a bit of a delinquent.
She is used to people calling her names, so she doesn't care what others think. But of course, if they push it too far, she will snap. Karen is known as a delinquent as mentioned earlier, one who fights and usually skips school. She'll appear on those days that she has to in order to graduate school, but she doesn't go to any school events or dances. Usually she is the one to crash the party and start a big fight. She adores seeing blood, her knuckles smashing into their face. Goes a bit bloodthirsty once in a fight.
She is reckless, too reckless. She'll jump into something that she may not be able to handle, but not caring she'll try her hardest. She will achieve what she wants; Karen is just that type of person. If she wants it, nothing like, "OMG I want that car!" More of a goal achievement, she'll try. She loves heights, so she is known to climb trees like money. That's why she is reckless; she'll climb that tree and at times, will fall off. But who cares? She'll get right back up and climb again.

History:
Karen was born into a large but poor family, leading her mother to leave. She loved her father, but to this woman, money was far more important, thus she left for a richer man. Sometimes people fall into depression because of this, not her family. Her father Kevin Rivers worked hard and maintained many jobs in order to pay the rent, school and of course food. While her brothers grew older, they soon got jobs helping the family. Money is always tight, but they somehow get through.
She never really thought about money, that is until she started school. She wore poor clothes, and usually was dirty while all the other kids were nice and clean and got all the new toys and clothes. She was different. She understood the harsh economy, but she didn't understand society. Being different isn't always good, in her case it wasn't.
Everyone gets bullied a bit, but she was for 24/7. At times the pranks go too far, like needles in her shoes or dead animals in her backpack. Bit too far for kids, right? Their children, they don't care much on that. Being a child with a wild mind is dangerous at times.
One day, they wanted to cut off all her 'dirty' hair, it made the class smell of dead rodents! That's what they claimed, but it was another excuse to bully her. This is the story on how she got the gash on her back. Karen always found places to hide if she got scolded, or when she was playing hide and go seek with her brothers. Heights, her best friend was the tall trees she could climb to escape. In this case, she didn't climb fast enough, leading to the other children to spot her. They weren't as clever on climbing, so they were stuck.
While she thought that it was safe, the tree just couldn't handle her weight. It wasn't anyone's fault really; it was her fault for picking an old tree. It was a forest after all, there are quite a few dangerous objects lying around. As the branch gave from her weight, she fell, having a rock sticking from the ground slice her back, leaving a large gash that still remains.
The issue was, Karen never fought back. She didn't want to! She was never afraid, oh no, she just didn't want her family to get in trouble. They have enough issues at hand, she didn't want to cause anymore. Though of course, her family was going to notice the scratches from escaping... This is how she developed a complex for her jacket. She refuses to take it off, showing the scratches she gets from running.
She just couldn't handle it. No more of this. At the age of 13, she had enough of everything. Karen fought back, giving a single punch. In the end they still beat her, the satisfaction of punching them never left, making her realize, she could have a chance. She needs to be stronger, not just for fighting back, but for her to grow a backbone.
This is when she started to skip school, she left to train. She watched fighters in the streets and copied there moves, she sneaked into gyms (only to be tossed out) to learn self-defense techniques. At times she took a good beating for spying on fights that a person should not see, but she took it all. Not a very smart decision, right? This girl always forgot what happens when she sneaks into places.
Finally wanting to test her skills, she went into street fighting. At first, it was a bumpy course, she got beaten every time. She didn't realize her advantage at the time though. Smaller she is, the more agile she can become with the bigger opponents. Her fighting smoothed, she grew better over time. Her family did not approve, while they didn't know what she was doing, they didn't approve her skipping school. ... She doesn't care anymore.
Her grades dropped, her attitude was rough and rude, and she barely said the natural manners that people are supposed to have... As a mechanism to protect her, Karen made herself believe that her family is disappointed in her, shamed to have this teen as part of the family. She never proved if this was true or false, all she knows it's true in her mind.
She fought back numerous of times, but that only made it worse. It separated herself even more from people in her age. Girls simply talked how bad she was, how she was just like a prostitute, while boys made jokes how she wasn't strong at all. This led to guys challenging her. It never changed, and her attendance kept dropping at an alarming rate.
Teachers notice of course, but they did nothing about it. How could they? They could barely contact with family, and they can't raise a hand, that would be child abuse. They did nothing...
Highschool is no laughing matter, drama happens at every corner, everyone is dating, and they all started to 'bloom.' She couldn't stand there chatting every day. Picking on the nerds, making fun of those who were overweight, anyone who wasn't like them really, not skinny or perfect skin, not in their social group, they are the rulers of the School. She couldn't stand it, why did they do so? Was it to make themselves feel better? Karen didn't stop to ask questions, she acted.
Every Highschool as the popular kids, the King and the Queen who leads them all, the Rulers who owned the social group of Highschool. In her case, she punched the Queen. She was picking on a few females who were simply a bit chubby, they weren't even overweight. She snapped, and went for it.
Though of course, usually the Queen of Highschool is rich. Yes, she was rich of course, they all are. Snotty spoiled brats that didn't know when to shut up. Daddy's little girl who got everything she wanted. She even got rid of those who stood in her way. It was far too late for Karen to take it back, the deed was done.
Becoming older, she completely stopped going to school. At times her brothers forced her, but besides that, never. Street-fighting became her life, it harnesses her skills, it made her stronger, and it just felt right. The usual fights she picks with are the same people, not many want to go to this side of the world where violence is every corner. So of course she noticed the new faces.
They didn't do anything, they simply watched her fight. Everyone knows where this is going, but the ending is different than a usual story. After everyone left, she walked home like usual. Karen didn't have to worry; she was a girl, but a girl who could handle herself fine.
Stupid mistake, if anything she should’ve learned to travel in a group. She may be strong, but Karen is no super Woman. She was outnumbered, and not being good at math she had no idea how many. But who cares? All that she cared about was running, just like in the past. She was so thankful at that time for being fit, but even that couldn't save her from a dead-end.
For the first time in her life, she felt actual fear. Fear of dying, fear of pain. They weren't like the usual people on the streets, nor were they like Highschoolers. These were people that were hired for harming. She wouldn't stand a chance... Fear is a powerful weapon, but at times fear can be dangerous as a real blade.
Her mind went wild. She had a wide imagination, so her mind turned to everywhere ending that could happen... Which one came to life. Karen is an atheist, she doesn't believe God, she doesn't believe in Hell. But her instinct made her think of hell, the eternal pain and fire. She loved mythology; it was one thing she will actually happy to learn. For that reason, Cerberus was in that image to.
That's when her powers came. Out of fear, everything that she had imagined manifested to a picture in the real world. The fires blazed, it made that crackling noise you could hear from a Campfire. Cerberus emerged, its three heads barking and growling at the hit man. She was panicking, panicking on everything. A normal emotion to feel in this type of situation, but she couldn't find the right word to describe it with her limited knowledge.
Half of the men fled, half of them froze in fear. The Illusion had lasted for seconds, and then disappeared in seconds. It was like a 3D movie, and none of them could process it. Almost as if they put it in the back of their minds, the men ignored what happened, they simply couldn't process it. They walked toward her.
Her Illusion power appeared, but wanting everything to be forgotten. She acted on instinct... She simply touched them, and they forgot what they were doing there. She repressed the memory of her from anywhere in there mind. She doesn't want them to come after her.
After realizing her powers, the last one appeared. Her senses varied, when she wanted to hear nothing... She heard nothing. Though of course, her family would notice these things. Wouldn't they notice a shaken up daughter when she came home, discovering what kind of... Thing she is.
They saw her practice her Illusions. Thus sent her to the School. Oh she put up a fight, but her powers to say, weren't strong enough. She only knew street fighting, not how to use her powers in battle.

This is from a different site; I don't know how long ago it was.
It was about kids being stuck in a camp and have to work, girls sew, guys mine. My character Dream didn't want to sew, so she crossdressed.
It was hot, and she was sweating. Dream was working outside, with the boys. She wasn't inside working with the other females, there was no way she could stand sitting in one spot for endless hours just working on the machine day and night. She was restless. While she didn't want to be here at all, there wasn't a choice in the matter. If she screamed, there could be a chance she would be taken away never to be seen again, or even get beaten up like some of the other children. She stuck her finger in the bandage that covered her mouth to let a little fresh air in. She always kept it around her mouth, for the reason that she didn't want to talk. Her voice was deep, but sometimes people go into detail about others and like to study, if she talks there could be a chance they discover her real gender. While it was a huge risk of her to disguise as a boy, it was worth it. She had everything like a guy had, the strength, the hair, the height was about the average height of a guy thankfully, the only thing she lacked was the parts, but it wasn't like they would check, now would they? Being flat-chested also gave her a chance to work out here. Most of the time that isn't really something to brag about, it was easier on her.
The hood draped over her head to block out the sun as she pushed the barrow around so the other guys could place the rocks in it. What was the point in this exactly, while probably somewhere along the line someone explained it to her, she completely forgot. Listening wasn't exactly her forte. Then she spotted Finder, the only guy who actually knew her secret. Honestly she hesitated on asking him about this, but weirdly he agreed, and for that she was forever indebted to him. When she was about to nod back, they were called to line up.
She went with the rest of the guys, watching them all. Everyone had different descriptions, but all had one same face. They were tired of it all. Some lost there spirits, some were always full of energy, some even broke and went insane. They all wore the same clothes, many battered and even a few accessories here and there. She was bored of being a look alike with the others, even if she wasn't a boy originally, the only thing Dream really added on was the hood. The bandages where always there... She doesn't want the guards to talk to her after all.
