The sun shined a brilliant shade of white and yellow as it touched the horizon. The light hitting the calm water of the ocean and blending the color of the water from blue, to light blue, then to blue and yellow. Every ripple in the water magnified the shades of blue in the water, making the reflection of the light look even more like the beautiful illusion that it was. The waves gently brushed the soft, white sand of the beach beckoning it to come ever closer. A gentle breeze brushed against the world, carrying on it a few stray leaves that had been entranced by the wind's dance and had joined in.
A single student broke the contrast of nature as she walked along the line of the beach. The sheer darkness of the clothing the student wore seemed out of place here. After all, no one wore suits nowadays, no one but this student on an off day. Even though the suit itself was out of place, it blended in fabulously the way it was worn making it seem like it fit with the surrounding beauty even though it didn't belong. The girl who wore the suit on her slender frame, had golden locks that seemed to catch the sun at the perfect time making it seem like her hair was truly woven out of gold. Her turquoise eyes scanned the area with every step she took and with every step she took, the flicker of wind dusting the sandy beach seemed to follow. At least until the sound of a branch snapping under someone's foot echoed from behind her. Her footsteps faltered and she spun around to look at whoever it was that had followed her out here.
"Who are you?"
The question wasn't unfriendly in tone or even questioning. It was spoken as if it were a statement and yet it held a note of suspicion. The person before her certainly wasn't someone she knew, but then again she knew no one here nor did she actually care who they were. Her job was simply to make sure people didn't kill each other, that was all. It had nothing to do with knowing who they were.
