Mr. Eldritch held his breath as he finally pushed open the doors to the Auditorium. Surprisingly happy to find that the entire place was a lot quieter than he had been expecting. Although there were a few murmurs from people here and there, most of it was low enough that it wouldn't be anything noticeably distracting, and as he looked around, he realized that this gym was basically like every other that he had ever seen. Which was both slightly comforting and made him wince in recollection of past experiences. He whispered to himself, his voice scratchy with the attempt at the low volume and the amount of venom in his voice, "Dodgeball..."
Of course, he was quick to repress the vivid visions of past exploits gone wrong, not wanting to revisit the sense of having what were laughably called soft balls hitting people with way too much force to be considered necessary in what was hilariously called a game. Dagon couldn't help the second shudder that racked his body, and worked even harder to repress the bad memories. Not that he had ever been bad at the dodging, but getting hit just a few times was more than enough to instil a sense of dread at the forceful contacts that most outdoor activities produced.
Having stood in front of the doors for almost an entire minute, Dagon quickly moved into the actual room, looking around and noticing the various people talking in random locations of the massive auditorium. He gnawed on his bottom lip a little unsure of where he was suppose to stand in this place in order to meet his "representative" of such a prestigious school.
Having no destination, his feet just carried him around the room, until he ended up in a more quite corner of the room just by chance. managing to get rid of most of the soft murmuring by putting quite a bit of distance between himself and everyone else talking. He sighed softly to himself, as he stood near the wall, and smoothed out the white silk shirt he was wearing in an attempt to stave off the boredom. It appears that it was too much to hope that he'd be greeted instantly in order to diffuse the nervousness that he was currently experiencing, unaware of the protocol of this entire "meet 'n greet" deal that all new students had to go through. "A pamphlet would've been nice" He says forlornly.
