Basics
Name: Titus Jaxon Piers
Nicknames: TJ, Ty, Jax
Age: 17
Birthday: February 4th
Grade: 12
Power: Sonic Scream - the reason he's stopped arguing as much, TJ recently discovered his ability to emit powerful, damaging screams that, at their worst (or best depending on how you view it), can kill someone. It's weakest would probably be a small knockback and maybe leaving the victim deaf or hard of hearing for a few moments. He has very little control, almost no control at all, over this ability and the only reason he knows it exists is because he accidentally used it, a result of him becoming absolutely furious.
Member Group: Neutral (though the plan is to force him to pick a side later)
Canon or not: nah
Appearance: TJ has messy blonde hair that always looks like he just woke up from a rough night's sleep no matter what he does. His eyes are a light brown and he almost always looks like he's picking things apart with his stare. He usually keeps a small smile on his face around others, in an attempt to seem friendlier to the people around him. His skin is light but not particularly pale and he doesn't have any scars or distinguishing marks on it.
He stands at about 6 foot 3 inches and weighs around 185 pounds. He's not particularly intimidating but his height and slight muscles coupled with his 'I'm judging everything you do' glare tend to drive others away more often than not. He tries very hard to appear less intimidating. He smiles when he can, he slouches often to appear shorter, and he avoids standing as much as he can.
Personality
Overall Personality: A pacifist but certainly not passive, TJ can't stand fighting/physical violence and certainly would never willingly even raise a fist at another creature, however he's not a pushover and won't allow others to just walk all over him. He may not fight with fists but he's got a sharp tongue and a broken filter, he will argue until his throat bleeds if he feels it's needed. Unfortunately he's also prone to snapping when angered and, due to his lack of a filter, he can brutally destroy other people with his words. He's become a lot more aware of how he hurts others with words and has been trying to stop hurting others and usually feels incredibly guilty if he does hurt someone without meaning to. Recently he's taken to biting his tongue in order to prevent himself from saying things he'll regret, but it's a bit hard since he's used to not stopping himself. (Though while all this generally remains true, he has become slightly more passive and unresponsive since what happened with his brother, but the hope is he'll overcome that)
He loves to argue, he loves to debate and he's not quite sure why. Is it belittling others, making himself feel more important or is it just that he loves to yell? Perhaps it's both. Either one isn't really a positive thing, he's aware of his own ego and desire to be better than others even though he doesn't like to admit to it. He just wants to yell at the world because in his core he's angry, even though he wants to be happy and nice and he's not a particularly mean person, he's just angry. He wants to feel important but to him that seems to mean dashing the aspirations of others, even if it's not what he intends to do when he argues. He's just a little (and by a little I mean very) blunt, especially when he tries not to be.
He has an almost carefree attitude at times, playing off everything with a lighthearted joke whenever he can, to try and avoid the questions of others. He likes to tease every now and again, though tries to avoid doing so if he's in a bad mood in case he goes overboard. He tries to be supportive of others and tries to humor people he thinks could use someone to talk to, but he's not always the greatest at it. He has his breaking point eventually, though he never backs out before then.
He's not curious about everything, but if something manages to catch his interest he'll stick around until the whole thing's through. He's always interested in learning something new, especially about other people. Maybe part of his desire to know how to pick everyone apart, he enjoys gaining new knowledge on the people around him to give him a better insight.

History: When TJ's father found out his mother was pregnant with the second child, he bailed in the middle of the night and was never seen again. As a result, TJ never knew his father and the closest thing he had to a father was his older brother, Grant, who was 7 at the time of his birth. Their mother worked a few jobs and was pretty much always gone, leaving Grant to raise Titus for the majority of his life (despite his still being young as well). TJ grew up resenting people in general, with a bitter outlook he was often quick to cut down others at any chance, despite the efforts of his brother to raise him with a better outlook. Of course, this meant he had pretty much no friends for most of his childhood since no one wanted to be around someone who was constantly rude and bitter. Grant constantly nagged him for years to try and get him to change his ways which, although it led to a strained relationship between the two, eventually did get TJ to attempt to be a little friendlier and control himself a little more.
In middle school is when the changing really began. Though most students were uninterested in it, the school did have a small debate team which TJ gave it a try and loved it. He was allowed to debate and argue all he wanted and it became a sort of outlet so he didn't feel like arguing with everyone he saw all the time. Everyone quickly learned he was quite skilled at shooting down others' arguments and belittling them, easily able to make his side sound better no matter what the case. He had to bite his tongue often, not wanting to overdo it and get in trouble or get kicked out, but just being able to argue was good enough for him. With an outlet, he was a lot more pleasant to be around and eventually he found people to talk to in school, though he still wasn't the best at making good, solid friendships. Surface friendships was the most he could manage, but it was an improvement and he was okay with it.
By high school he had developed his supportive attitude, helping out others and shooting down bullies. Maybe because of the difference between high school students and middle school students or maybe because he was sick of holding back however, he began becoming a lot more brutal when telling others off, even in debates. This started up arguments at home with Grant as he often got in trouble for using inappropriate language or just being far too mean, regardless if the person deserved it or not. He got detention often, was even suspended once or twice. He was constantly pissed off even with his hobbies, he constantly had a bone to pick and maybe it was just teenage angst or maybe it was the hole in his life where family felt like it should be, or maybe it was both. Whatever it was, he was just always angry and caused a lot of trouble. He really didn't mind though, it was only the arguing with his brother that was the downside to him.
It wasn't until things escalated quickly that he learned to reserve himself a little better. Arguing with Grant about all the trouble he was causing in classes, getting angrier and angrier, when he reached the point of being absolutely furious his screams turned deadly and he accidentally, and quite brutally, killed his older brother. Horrified and covered in blood, he could only stare in shock as his mother walked in and screamed. After staring at his mother in terror the rest was mostly a blur from then to when he arrived at the island.

RP Sample: TJ couldn't believe everything that had happened. He was a murderer, a freak! He was the thing everyone was afraid of, and the solution was to just ship him off somewhere. They were just going to hide him away so the world didn't have to look at him because he was just some ugly freak of nature. He was going to be stuck on this island for a year at least but he felt like they'd find a way to keep him there longer, so he could control himself and just as punishment for what he'd done. A year wouldn't suffice for what he'd done. With teeth and fists clenched, he looked up at the sky and choked back the emotions welling up inside of him. Not here, not now. He was going to prison, but he could only imagine this prison would be a lot worse than any real prison. This was a prison for murderous freaks like him... AND a school. It was filled with powerful, probably angsty, teenagers. TJ was 99 percent sure that this place was going to be actual hell on earth. It was almost time to walk in, to start his day. To start his sentence.
When his first day started, he could practicaly feel the mood. He knew exactly what he was in for. It was like death, but everyone was alive.. as far as we was aware at least. Could they kill students? Really they could probably find any reason to and have it be 'justified' since it was very unlikely that anyone cared. The air was heavy and he felt heavy. He wanted to scream at someone just because of how he was drowning in this thick, hopeless feeling that seemed to radiate from the buildings around him. However, he did not want to end up dead on his first day. He wanted to catch a glimpse of hell before he decided if he should kick the bucket or not, after all. He let out a sigh and then put on a small, fake smile before heading for the introductory meeting.
He was surrounded by monsters, but they were just like him. They were just like everyone else he'd ever seen before. The only new thing was that everyone around him was capable of dangerous things. They were locked away because they were capable of dangerous things. He didn't want to go around calling everyone a freak, but really what hope did any of them have? Would any of them really leave this island changed? Would they be any safer, any calmer, any more in control? He wasn't bothering listening to what was being said, he knew it would probably just piss him off and get him to start shouting in protest. He had to keep himself out of trouble for at least a few days, but preferably for the entire year. Eventually the man addressing them all paused and TJ snapped to attention, wondering if he could leave now.
"Let's all have ourselves a great year." The tone sent shivers down TJ's spine.
