A slim hand rubbed the eyelids hiding very prominent electric blue eyes. Softly, the young girl groaned as her eyes fluttered open. They moved absently around the room she was in, taking in the familiar format of the two beds and furniture. Flopping her arm over her eyes, she let out a heavy sigh. “Not again…” She whispered before she sat up on the bed. A frown sprouted on her lips as she glared at the wall in front of her. Bridget didn’t have to wonder where she was. It was all too familiar. Everything from the white walls to the shabby carpet that now rested under her foot as she swung her legs over the bed.
She was back in Ashford.
Standing up she stretched, a dull ache spreading throughout her body. Silently she wondered how they had drugged her. It hardly mattered now, she was here and she would be staying here for an awfully long time. Part of her felt infuriated with the turn of events, not matter how unsurprising they were. Yet another, deep within her chest was glad. Glad for the simple fact that she would be able to see her friends again, friends she had come to know as her family. However, that part remained deeply hidden as she headed out the door of her dorm.
She barely registered that she was still in her previous clothing. Sneakers, jeans, and an All Time Low t-shirt. Pretty standard for any other teen, yet drastically different than the uniform she’d be forced to wear again. But, the purple beanie on her head would always connect her two lives. The one in the city that never sleeps and the life she had built here. Bridget was focused as she made her way down the hallways of her school, the lay out imprinted in her mind for the rest of her days. Yet, as she turned the corner to the west tower she came to a stop, leaning against the locker as her electric blue eyes set on a familiar sight.
“Well, hey there stranger. Long time no see… Did you miss me?” Her voice called, her old teasing tone taking control as a smirk pulled at her lips.
