Psychometry- Akito can touch a person's object to see their past. She can see anything the person has done, the last time they touched it. The memory will fade once the person left the sight of the object. Meaning if someone touches a bed she will see the memory until the person has left the sight range of the bed. Akito is very vulnerable in this state and may be easily attacked.
Mediumship- Akito can talk to those who have moved on. This allows her to speak with any spirit she wishes. The spirit may choose to ignore her if it wishes and she cannot force it to talk to her. The spirits stop talking to Akito if a living person speaks to her, but will resume once the living person stops speaking.
Spirit Vision- Akito can visibly see spirits walking around her. These spirits may attack her if they wish to and can seriously harm her. The spirit can also choose to cloak themselves, at which point she can no longer see them. If the cloaked spirit gets within 10 feet of her then it will be uncloaked allowing her to see it again.

Appearance:
Akito has long silver-white hair that reaches down to just below her waist. It turns a darker silver in the summer due to more exposure from the sun, but remains snow white in winter. In the seasons of spring and fall her hair is a hybrid of the two colors being a silverish-white. Her eyes are a sea blue color. Her hair can typically be found down or once in awhile in pigtails when she doesn't have the time to brush it. She will typically only wear some white lipstick or dark eye shadow when it comes to makeup as she does not really care about looking like "the perfect girl". She is of an average height being 5'5" with a slim physique. Her skin is close to the color of her hair, being very pale white due to her not going outside unless necessary.
When not in her uniform, Akito can be found in some casual clothing consisting of jeans and a t-shirt or tank top. The style of clothing she wears typically looks gothic or dark, meaning that most of her jeans and shirts are black. She can once in awhile be found in a formal dress, which will normally be black, but this is quite rare and will only appear when there is a special event. She often wears a black ribbon with a small white flower on the top in her hair. She will normally be found wearing a black sweatshirt over her clothing even if it's hot outside.
Personality
Overall Personality:
Akito can be described as your typical shy girl. She will only make friends once she feels that they are trust worthy. She will also avoid prefects that are known to be overly harsh. She will very rarely be the one to branch out to be someone's friend. She will typically be in the darkest and quietest area of the room to avoid conversation.
When befriended, Akito is seen to be a loving kind person. She can be overbearing at times, but will never intentionally smother a friend. She tries to keep her troubles out of her conversations and would rather help a friend with their problems. When told of a problem she will usually be blunt about it, if she knows the person can take it. She does it out of the kindness of her heart because she would rather tell the truth to her friends and hurt their feelings, than she them fail.
Akito will spend most of her time talking to spirits. She is fascinated with the past and likes to hear the spirit's stories. She considers the spirits to be her best friends and will talk to them about problems in her life. She will respond to them more than anyone because the spirits know how to deal with life. People who can't see the spirits often call her crazy, which will often times make her spend more time with the spirits.

History: Akito's mother died birthing her. She was left with only a father to raise her. Her father never remarried because he did not want his daughter to think of anyone else as mom or have her be told what to do by someone that wasn't her immediate family. Being her father's only turned out to be a good thing for Akito. He treated her like a princess and was always kind to her father.
Akito would seem like the perfect child to most, but from a young age her father knew she was special. He told her that when she was young he would find her giggling when there was no one there. He also saw her moving her hands like she was holding hands with someone. Eventually her father had figured out that it was her mother's spirit. Akito got to meet her mother because of her powers. Although she never learned her mother's name. Her father wouldn't tell her because of the pain he felt for her being gone.
At age 13 Akito willing decided to go to Ashford. She realized that she could be with others like her there. When she first arrived, bullying was a sad thing that happened to her. This shaped her quiet personality today. After her first year she wanted to go back to her father, but the school would not allow it.After being forced to stay, Akito stopped talking to people and started talking exclusively to spirits. Only recently has she opened up to the idea of making friends.

RP Sample: What was happening in the rp: My character was running from the mountains with another character trying to escape some bandits
"Run you idiot!" Ria did was tired of Catelyn being slow. She was always getting her into trouble. This was honestly the last straw. Catelyn finally listened to her and started running as well. Ria pulled out some throwing knives and started hurling them at the bandits.
One managed to hit the bandits, but he didn't go down. Catelyn tripped hitting her face. Ria was trying to decide to help her or not. Ria decided to help her because she would be killed by her father is she left her to die.
