Basics
Name: MaKayla Maxwell
Nicknames: MaKay and Kay will do nicely.
Age: 16
Birthday: December 22nd
Grade: 10th
Power:
(Major) Advanced Strength:
MaKayla is far stronger than the average individual and is one of the physically strongest people at the school, despite her appearance. Her strength is a lasting strength that does not get worn down easily. She has gotten much stronger through constant prefect required training but she’s gained little to no traction in forms of controlling such strength. It would seem that there is little hope for her controlling her strength. Every day is a battle for her. She’s a girl that lives in a world designed for people far weaker than her. Her constant struggle not to break everything around her is often in vain. She can lift and cary (for a short distance) a maximum weight of 4,250 pounds (every muscle in her body is 36 times stronger than someone her size and age). Attempts to lift more than she can carry can result in serious, or otherwise, permanent injury to her body, through tissue or through bones.
(Major) Bodily Reinforcement/Biological Durability:
Because Makayla has such impossible strength that it would be difficult to survive without a form of durability. For example, without more durable bones using her diaphragm to breath would cause immense pain as each inhale could fracture her rib cage, bending it out of shape. Punching a punching bag cause tendons, bones, and her muscles to break. To survive herself, Makayla has a form of durability accounting to protect herself from feats of strength. This is best seen in her bones, which have smaller and stronger biological microstructures than that of the average human being. It can otherwise be seen in her tendons and ligaments, which fit her strength well by being able to hold the same massive amounts of weight that her muscles allow her to. Her body is able to withstand her own massive strength of 4,250 pounds (36 times stronger than an average individual of her size and age) finding itself 36 more durable than the average individual in ligaments and in the bones. Organs and skin show no special durability past self inflicted damage, making a knife just as deadly to her as anyone else.
This kind of durability does not protect against fire or electricity.
(Minor) Physical Peak:
Physical peak is a form of advanced conditioning that allows MaKayla to be athletically similar to those who compete in professional sports. Physical peak allows MaKayla to have the agility, speed, flexibility, and reaction time of athletes in their prime. Her speed are at the peak of human capacity and are in no way stronger than any non-gifted who has trained to get to their position. MaKayla’s physical peak has conditioned her body to a high functioning level. This includes a high metabolism, prime reflexes, astounding lung capacity, and an immune system that would make her doctor proud. These are all comparable to those of elite athletes. Because the level of physical skill that is required is comparably at the height of human limits, MaKayla’s physical peak cannot best powers such as advanced reflexes, advanced speed, advanced agility, and others. Advanced based powers are above human limits and therefore best MaKayla’s speed and agility associated with physical peak. Member Group: PrefectCanon or not: NotAppearance: at least 2 paragraphsMaKayla has a slender frame. Her body is very tan, unlike most people at Ashford. She weighs a light 118 pounds and stands at 5’4”. She appears physically fit and with a hint of a muscular tone. Her overall healthy figure can be attributed to a balanced diet and her abilities. She has short brownish black hair with bangs that come down past her ears. Her eyes resemble a deep oceanic blue.
She will wear her prefect uniform and badge when required. When at the gym she'll wear the common Ashford red gym shorts and a T-shirt or simple, breathing jogging apparel of her choice. When fishing she dawns more obvious fishing attire, complete with waterproof stockings, boots, and your good old bucket hat (fisherman's hat).
Personality
Overall Personality:
Boredom: MaKayla likes being active. If given too much time on her hands she will be overwhelmingly drawn to an activity. She constantly makes personal projects and lists of what to make or what to do later. Usually these lists have to be memorized as writing it down is more likely to produce a broken pencil than a list.
Unintentional Destruction: What if every time you got excited you accidentally broke what you were holding. Now, imagine that every time you got excited you had the overwhelming urge to high five, hug, or love-punch the nearest person... That’s MaKayla. Having the untamed strength of a grizzly does not play well to her everyday life. She feels bad about the effect of her gift and often feels the need to isolate herself from company in fear of hurting them.
Southern Tendencies: You’ll get into the habit of calling figures of authority “Sir” and “Ma’am” if you grew up in MaKayla’s household. It’s not so much discipline, as it is general respect and culture. This may make her appear backhanded or mouthy, as if she had said it mockingly though, in whole, Kay is a genuine individual. She’ll also be caught saying other common southern words and euphemisms from time to time, though much of this has been cooked out of her from being at Ashford for some time.
Thinking and planning: MaKayla is no brute. Despite being as strong as one, Kay finds herself more often thinking around a problem. She often thinks about things from new angles and acts accordingly. Of course when needed she will act on instinct, but the majority of her actions throughout the day are well calculated.
Skill Gathering: MaKayla loves collecting applicable knowledge and skills. She’s picked up (or taught herself) sewing, carpentry, and leatherwork and hopes to pick up wiring, metalwork, glass blowing, and cooking. She hasn’t been around any sort of outlet for any of those skills with the exception of cooking. Though she tries hard and means well, she struggles with coking do to the often delicate and precise motions that it requires.
Role Model: MaKayla does her best at all times. This originates from having the strong urge to set an example to her younger brother and with her heavy workload with running her family’s small fishing business. She continues to set an example of hard work and diligence for her fellow students.

History:
MaKayla was born into a low income family of fishermen off the Southern coast of Louisiana. It was a humble existence; she was put to work at the young age of five, first learning to count by fixing the holes too large in nets. When her little brother was born three years after her she was taught over and over again to be a good example to him. She has always dwelled on the idea of being a role model since then; and even to this day, it’s a driving point. It was obvious back then that she was a strong girl, always eager to help as much as she could around the house and on the boat. It seems even as a girl she’d rather of been doing something productive than nothing at all. She was her father’s happy helper, always. It wasn’t till she was eight that she learned of her family’s constant financial struggles. It was also then that she realized how nothing was ever wasted in the family; everything was turned into something else. She was upset, as many people would be. Her father’s strength had been waning over the years, his hair growing grey from years of taking two steps forward and one back. MaKayla could see him aging, withering, as days passed. Long nights she’d catch him still at work, up fixing nets, patching holes, or tinkering with the equipment. But every so often he’d have enough time to cast a lure into the water. One night she confronted her father, asking him if there was anything she could do. He smiled, telling her first to go to bed; when she refused the tired man could do nothing but tell her to help with the fishing. She accidentally snapped the pole in two in pure excitement as a fish took the bait; her father’s only prized possession was gone. He was distraught, though he tried to hide it by telling her that he could fix it himself. She went to bed worried and woke up the next morning, finding the pole in the trash. She rescued the old thing, and searched for spare windings and a new two part shaft in others’ trashes. It took her two weeks to find the parts and another two to replace the components in a functional manner. It was in no way a work of art, but when MaKayla gave it to her father he sure acted like it. At age 12 she had nearly perfected her craft and helped her old man, mother, and younger brother run the trade. Her strength played a key role basically leading the family to a better way of life. And soon after she caught her biggest sailfish at nearly 2,000 pounds, she gained the attention of the press for breaking the local record at such a young age. The picture of the monstrous fish show’d her holding it triumphantly in her arms. Ashford category agents soon appeared at their door asking questions of the feat, acting as journalists. The answers came truthfully from the family, revealing her numerous feats of strength throughout her life. Later different agents came to offer a special student program. “Top of the line education” with “irreplaceable experience” and it was all at ashford. Everything would be paid for and compensation would be made to those affected. Her father was a soft man, one that couldn’t refuse such opportunity. She was admitted into ashford academy for gifted individuals on her 13th birthday. She’s attended for three years now, and is a recent prefect recruit.
Name: Call me Monty. Though my full name is Montgomery Lamont Montague (Gumarich) the third. I will also respond to the name “Montage!”Chatango Name: MontyGumarichRP Experience: how long have you been roleplaying? Three years on and off, written for longer. How did you find us?: Chelly!RP Sample: at least 2 paragraphs, can be from another site. "Joseph, C'mon in." I welcomed him into my apartment. "Nice place ya got 'ere." He said staring at the high painted ceilings in the entry."Anything for Mae, little slice of paradise in The City itself." I led him to a smaller dining room. Mae still setting the table for me and the guest, "there's my chef" she smiled at the compliment, "best home made lasagna in the world ," I said kissing her on the cheek, I took her hands, holding them against my chest. "You treat me too well, go, rest, leave business to me and my boy here." She left with a smile. "Joey, sit down, by all means don't wait for me," I gave a playful chuckle. He obeyed, appearing loyal as ever. "Joey," I said, exhaling as I sat down, "what's the most important thing on Gods green earth?" I picked my fork and knife up initiating the meal.He shrugged, "money?""Ahh, wrong. Guess again." I placed a fork into my meal. There was a pause as he thought."The business?" I shook my head, swallowing a thick slice of marinated tomato. "I'm sorry Boss, I just don't know."I paused taking a sip of my water, "would you ever lie to me?""'f course not Boss.""Call me Al." I put down my glass, "Have you heard anything about a rat?""Can't say I ‘ave." He shook his head almost as an afterthought. How could I trust someone who answered with an afterthought."Joey, I trust ya, and there's only one thing that's important to people like us." I paused a moment to look him in the eye, letting my tone sink in."Trust?" It was a nervous guess, he was squirming under the pressure of my gaze."Family! Anyone can have trust, you trust a cab to get you where ya want, you trust that the Feds never catch on, and you have trust that people won't stop drinking liquor. But family, that's stronger than trust."I sliced through a large piece of pasta, noticing his plate, left untouched. "You're family Joey, blood.” I lied, “If you're my family you'd touch the delicious meal my wife made ya. You're acting like you don't trust me.""Sorry Boss." "Al!" I corrected. His answers seemed well rehearsed. I looked to my glass, half empty, "you sure you haven't heard anything 'bout a rat?"He shook his head, "can't say I ‘ave." I gave him a stern look, emptying my glass and getting up from my seat picking up the glass again. "We need a pitcher, Mae's a bit forgetful," I lightened the topic and walked past my guest into the other room. "I'm a bit forgetful myself." Joey spoke up. It was then that I knew the sound of betrayal. "Is that so?" I responded, setting my glass down and picking up the baseball bat I kept in the kitchen."Ya know Joey," I walked up behind him, rotating the bat in my hands, "I have an amazing memory. Some might say I never forget." I swung at his head, which overreached the chair. There was a loud crack, both from the bat and his skull. He fell face first into Mae’s food, if he wasn't eating it before he was now. I swung once more pummeling his head into the broken floral plate. I stepped around the chair, frowning at the concave divot in his head. I sat down again, drinking the water from his glass. He sure didn’t need it. "Ya think you know a guy."
