A man strode slowly through the crowd in the halls. Like a conqueror, a warrior from centuries long gone, he strode past the students, fierce and unconquerable. He was the kind of handsome that girls fell for without being able to locate just what it was about him. The allure of an open flame begging to be touched, and then laughing as you burn. His crimson gaze flickered over the other students, brooding, intent, and dangerous. Yet none realized the danger. It was almost sad how they missed the animal that lurked around them, always watching, listening, waiting... determined to strike if prey showed itself.
As he turned the corner he was greeted with open space. The herds of cattle moving off to their next class. All but one. A lone girl digging through her locker with enough vigor to suggest she had misplaced something important. With natural ease the man stopped and leaned against the locker beside her. The cold steel stinging his arm pleasantly as he watched her. His silent approach missing the attention of the frantic thing. Casually he swept his wavy black bangs from his eyes and painted on a smile.
"Loose something hun?" His voice was thick and as smooth as silk, one you would expect of a playboy rather than a killer like himself. Sometimes it made the hunt all too easy.
"Oh!" The girl started at the sudden voice and peeked around the locker door at him. Her leafy emerald eyes looking him over as a blush invaded her cheeks.
"Y-yes.. I lost my end task for my next class.." Her gaze held a hopeful gleam as if he might just produce the item from behind his back. Missing the hard edge to his smile. Many of the low-end cattle he came across here never noticed such important things. All the better for him.
"What did it look like, prey tell?" He raised an eyebrow and let his gaze drop over her body, as if checking her out. As if he would ever have any real interest in such a drab creature. Her blush deepened as she shuffled her feet shyly.
"It's a pink notebook with 'La Fiesta' written on the cover..." As she spoke he closed his eyes and tapped his head in a goofy gesture. Winking at her before slipping behind her, his breath hot on her neck as he leaned in close to her ear tauntingly.
"I thought it was an odd color for a boy to have.. A student had it in the Gym. Want to go see if he is still there?" He purred and headed off toward the gym without looking back to see if she followed. Of course she would follow. They always did. Sure enough he heard her shoes slapping the floor noisily as she trotted after him. Such a lame thing crashing about.
As he entered the gym he slipped to the side, closing the door behind her with a soft click. For a moment the girl seemed naively puzzled at the lack of people in the gym, or anyone in fact. But as she turned he saw her blush deeper, the stupid thing thought he was only trying to get in her pants. What a disgusting thought. He swallowed his disgust and stepped up to her, his finger trailing along her jawline.
"I'm sorry I lied... I just wanted to be alone with you~" He purred, his hand caressing her collarbone softly. The girl seemed to melt under his touch, but what she did not see was the crimson tendrils raising from the floor behind her. Swaying like snakes ready to attack.
As her hand slid up his chest one of the tendrils shot forward and tore her hand away. Lifting her off of her feet and dangling her in the air as her mind raced to catch up with the sudden events. As fear finally entered her eyes another tendril wrapped itself over her mouth, cutting off any scream of cry she might have tried.
"You sure think yourself something special to believe I would be interested in you, little mouse." Adam cooed as he circled her trapped form. His hand brushing his chest as if trying to dislodge anything the girl's touch might have left there.
Time for some fun~
