Hikari walked softly, quietly, through the white sand breathing in the salty air, it stung his nose due to the slight cold that had started to set in. The ocean breeze shifted and kissed the snow white hair of the boy as he stopped turning to look at the large blue mass of water, golden eyes sad with a loneliness only built by a lonely childhood shifted softly. His kimono shifted in the wind the red gold and blue standing out as flames on the white fabric, he looked like a statue as he stood there just watching. The sun was high in the sky and normally Hiki would not be out at this time, he always liked the darkness of the rooms in the school better then the loud annoying sun. Today though he had a feeling, no a push to go out today and just watch the water as it lapped at the white sand and tore away at the earth.
Words crept into his mind as he shifted to walk away and they came out softly, “There's nothing more beautiful than the way the ocean refuses to stop kissing the shoreline, no matter how many times it's sent away.” Hiki stopped turning around and looking back at the dark water, sighing softly he turned from it looking around he spotted a rock not far down the beach that hung out over the water itself. Hid strides were graceful as he walked to the large rock, its soft grey color stood out dark on the sand but light in the water. When he got close the gracefulness of the leap onto the rock was so odd and unusual that it was clear he was getting help, this he knew was part of having the fox in him. Standing on the rock he walked out to the point, the water lapping harsh at the rock he was on caused him to look down and smile softly.
"I'm slowly destroying myself and no one is able to stop me," the words came out of his mouth before he could stop them and he sighed. The sun was hitting him in a way that made him look almost dark like light could never touch him even if he wanted it to, his golden eyes closed and he leaned forward almost like he would fall into the ocean itself. Suddenly white ears and a large white fox tail became visible on the pail boy and he growled, all this sadness and stress was causing his fox side to show itself more often. He sat down on the rock his legs hanging over the edge, tail wrapped around him he looked up at the ocean and more soft words drifted from his lips, "How long is forever."
