"...Can I...Help you?"
Rex's lazily turned his head from left to right to see himself surrounded by a circular wall of prefects. All of which were doing some kind of threatening gestures, be it cracking there knuckles or necks, or be it them simply glaring daggers at the red haired teen. Whatever they were doing, it was more than obvious to Rex that they were lookin' for trouble. Lots, of trouble. The perfect in front of Rex stepped up to stand face to face with Rex, seemingly singling himself out to be the leader of this little group of thugs. As he spoke to Rex...He saw that the man spoke with purpose, as if he knew what he was doing, what they were about to do...Was completely just. "Yes, you can help us. You see, we got word that a rather thuggish looking character has been causing problems for our girl students. Flipping up there skirts, forcefully putting hands on them, the works...Quite the nasty character, wouldn't you agree?" The man then took a long pause in his speech, as if he wanted Rex to respond with something, or start apologizing or something...But Rex simply started blankly back at the male, already bored of the conversation, and already knowing how this was going to end up. Even though Rex wasn't showing any weakness to the male...he did take note in seeing the men around him make small mind consuming movements...They were starting to get antsy.
The 'leader' of the group simply continued his speech, ignoring the fact that Rex didn't take up his invention to speak. "Anyway, it must be painfully obvious why we are here...So if you'll just come with us quietly, we can resolve this...Peacefully. I mean, after all, you don't really have any other choice, do you?" The male said, causing himself to chuckle softly, which caused the rest of the kids around him to follow suite, all laughing and grinning like mindless thugs around Rex. However, there laughing all but stopped when Rex began to chuckle himself. A low, harsh chuckle, something that showed no fear...And only...Confidence. The men all glared as Rex just kept his chuckle up, his laughing getting louder, and louder. The male in front of Rex didn't take to kindly to the laugh, and deiced to throw out his hand, as a rush of fire began to form from the pit of his palm, and shot out in a stream like style towards Rex's face. "What's so fun-" Rex didn't even let him finish his sentience. As soon as the fire left his palm, and flew towards Rex's head, he'd already ducked to the right of the flame, and stepped in nice and close to the male, before throwing his palm straight into his face, and slamming him down into the hard soil of the courtyard, causing the male to bounce off the ground, and land flat on his back, out cold.
With the 'leader' down, and a pathway made for Rex, he quickly darted forward and away from the group, heading straight towards the one building prefects both hated, and feared the most...The West tower. While he made his sprint towards the tower, the other prefects began to give chase, all taking the fact that he'd hurt there leader, as reason to beat the red head down. During the run, the prefects were doing everything in their power to stop Rex. From shooting off a blinding smoke screen, that Rex had to practically power jump through, to wrapping both of his wrists in vines, which Rex had to suddenly grab a hold of, and whip them forward, to cause the prefect who caught him to lift up off the ground, before smacking hard against the dirt floor. The whole sprint towards the West tower, wasn't an easy trek, but he knew once he'd seen the tip of the west tower, that he was home free...Or at least he was...Until a wave of fire blocked his frontward path, and a familiar voice rang out from behind him. "Not so fast...Thug!" With a sigh, Rex turned around to face the group of prefects once again. Knowing...He'd have to deal with them now.
