Basics
Name: Angelina Une.
Nicknames: Lady Une, Vice President Une – those that fear her call her Colonel Une or the Lady of Azure Flame.
Age: Eighteen.
Birthday: August 1st.
Grade: 12th.
Power: Pyrokinesis, Electrokinesis, Thermal Resistance.
Member Group: Prefect.
Canon or Not: Canon.
Appearance: At first glance, one Angelina Une would appear to everyone to be a male – a bishonen, if you will. And, while the bishonen part is mostly true, it implies nothing about her gender in the slightest. Lina is neither tall nor short, standing just slightly above average five feet, seven inches tall, and weighs in at a normal 120lbs for her athletic build. And yet, with her rather pale skin, this is where her normalcy ends. Her hair, which sits just below her shoulders in length, is neither straight nor curly, but is lightly wavy in nature. It tends to be braided into two braids, and secured into two tight coils behind each ear; the braids themselves are done with pink ribbons, and her hair itself is chestnut in hue. Her eyes are usually cold, and calculating at times; their color is a dark hazelnut, but with traces of lighter shades in their depths – she wears round-lensed, wire-framed glasses at nearly all times.
As stated, she appears mostly male, but her breasts, which happen to be a respectable size, are her one feature to contradict this. Her one other note-worthy feature is, that though her hands are slightly slim, it cannot be denied that they have a wiry power to them. And yet, there at times appear to be nuances to her appearance. Sometimes, she will wear her hair down, or done in two “Princess Braids.” Also, at times it seemed that her eyes take on a touch of dove grey – when her hair is down – and a touch of blue-grey – when her hair is in Princess Braids. Her features also seem to change slightly; softer and kinder than normal for the first instance, and a touch hard but open and frank and honest and warm for the second. But, it isn’t as if anything really changes about her… it’s all just in the way one looks at her. Right…? Of course right.(Not.)

Overall Personality: Ruthlessly dedicated to her cause, Angelina is cold, arrogant, shrewd, and callous. She does not believe in such things as honor or chivalry, and will use any methods (no matter how reprehensible) to get the job done. Angelina would willingly sacrifice her subordinates, and is single-minded in accomplishing whatever task is given her. She has no room for failure, remorselessly punishing anyone who she feels has botched his/her mission. As both a commander and an assassin Lina is seemingly without feeling, and has no qualms about killing in order to fulfill her orders. Angelina does however value efficiency and competence, and will reward those subordinates who she feels display it; she will also stand up for them against the criticism of others. And yet, what hides behind this front is something far darker than merely Angelina herself. Diagnosed with Dissociative Identity Disorder at an early age, Angelina has developed many alters since, but only two have never been re-assimilated after a certain period of time. If one were to call Angelina herself the Colonel, then her other two personalities would be the Lady, and the Warrior Healer, respectively.
The first, the Lady, is known simply as Ann, and is the one to wear her hair down and make-up of a subtle application but considerable amount. The Lady herself is the opposite of the Colonel in almost every way. As such, she has more liberal views and presents herself as a beautiful and charming lady that grabs the attention of all the men (despite being gay). She often uses her charms to get the necessary attention to convey her political views. She is a committed believer in pacifism and working together with others to build a brighter future; as a result she often stands opposed to Angelina on matters such as war and the government’s involvement with the gifted population.
Finally, the third personality, the Warrior Healer seems to be, at first glance, a mesh of the previous two, but is nothing of the sort in reality. Sally Po, as the second and final alter has defined herself, is warm and open and kind and fearless; she was far more relaxed than either other persona is, one holding to a strict military code and the other to that of the aristocracy in which “she” was raised. So, perhaps she is the best of Angelina and An, but she also has her own plucky, gung-ho, I-believe-anything-is-possible-if-you-work-hard-enough spunk that can’t and won’t be ignored for anything. 9All three are also soundly gay.) Though Angelina keeps both Sally and An repressed as much as she can, they do tend to slip out a times, as a sign of her worsening mental state.
History
Family Members/Guardians: Lord Aleksander and Lady Angelique Une. No siblings to speak of.
History: Eighteen years ago, on the first of August, Angelina was born to her parents Aleksander and Angelique Une. Her heritage was of old noble blood, and both of Germanic and French lineage. Of course, as the child of an old military and aristocratic family, she was taught both from the very moment she was born. She was born and bred ad lady and born and bred a soldier; her gifted abilities training came with the latter. However, this caused no little distress within her own subconscious mind. One side of herself wished to be the Perfect Lady and uphold the ancient and noble lineage of her family, while the other wanted to be the Perfect Soldier and climb the ranks with great speed be gaining power and skill and intellect.
This created a dichotomy within the girl, and at the age of ten she was diagnosed with Dissociative Identity Disorder. However, it was not just this conflict of desires which had caused her mental split. Her parents were often away – her father on business, her mother at galas and parties – and when they were at home with her, all Angelina would ever hear were their screaming fights about what she would grow up to become. Her mother demanded she be a lady; her father a soldier. And so, in essence, she split herself in two to just stop the endless shouting and screaming and fighting and hurtful words and broken things and bonds and hate… She did it in the vain hope that her parents might love her if she could be both at the same time. This backfired spectacularly, and she was sent to Ashford Academy as soon as she turned twelve and could be accepted; they found her disorder disgusting and a shame – at least at Ashford she could be of some use to them.
In her five years at Ashford, Angelina developed a third personality, from the bit of herself that just wanted to be normal, and that became Sally Po, a Chinese woman of strong character and open warmth and friendship. Of course, with her parents reaction branded into her mind by how she was never allowed home during the holidays, she repressed Sally and An – her Lady Side – viciously. As of now, in her senior and last year, Angelina has been made Vice President of the Student Council, and is also the Second in Command of the Prefects. She will see order imposed at this school even if it kills her, which, it might actually do, with how her grip on her sanity, and the grip she as on Sally and An slips everyday just a little bit more… until nothing is left at all.
Behind the Character
Name: Sam will do fine, or Whirlwind, if you prefer.
RP Experience: Seven, eight years… ish…
How did you find us: …I am one of the site’s parents.
RP Sample:Azula was not happy, no she was not. Quite the contrary, actually; she was livid beyond words. Of course, none of this was expressed upon her face, the lines and angles of her features smooth and stoic as ever. The source of her fury, however, wasn’t anything but herself. Emotions were stupid, useless, and lethal. She knew how to use them in others, but when the Crown Princess – well, rather just Princess, now that Zuzu (she always referred to her brother by the degrading nickname in thought) had been reinstated – herself was confronted with them, from the one place she couldn’t deal with them, from herself, she found her mind consumed by a rage so hot and blinding she would resort to hours’ worth of meditation and training to calm herself.
And yet, this fury was not one that would abate. No, she had been feeling this particular fury since she was reunited with one of her only two “friends,” the acrobat Ty Lee at that circus months ago now. It had only intensified, when their little trio had been reunited in Omashu, when Mai had joined them. In fact, it seemed stronger, even when the Knife Mistress was around, but oh Agni, when they were both with her… The Firebending prodigy had often wondered if she were a masochist, since the fire that ignited inside of her was part unquenchable fury, and part something else, something she had never before believed she could feel for anyone. Azula still could not understand why she felt what she did for her two “best friends,” but she knew what she felt. And that knowing infuriated her all the more. After all, who wouldn’t despise desiring their two “best friends” so much that it was physically painful in ways that couldn’t be described? And still, there was a small, tiny, almost dead part of her that liked this feeling… That little piece of her was what kept those two around – even if it was because that small fragment reminded the Princess of the Fire Nation that she was still human.
She may not have been capable of really feeling any sort of emotion toward either Mai or Ty Lee, but the agony, the desire the lust… It reminded her that she wasn’t the monster her mother had always believed her to be. That in mind, Azula took a deep breath and forced herself to calm. She would never be getting any sleep with that on her mind, so it was better to simply put it out of her mind. This decided, she turned from where she had been standing on the balcony of her room, and made her way back inside the Fire Nation palace.
Now that she had come closer to resolving the issue, she might dream of something more pleasurable than ruling the world, tonight…
