It's Nothing Official Yet, Guys! [Sasha]

Ren paced the beach on the wettened sands to allow good traction. He had recently asked out a girl on a date, Sasha, a blind beauty. He saw nothing wrong with her loss of sight, moreover respected it.

"Let's try up here!" He called back to the girl, a picnic basket dangling in his hand. He moved his way up to a dry area with a good bit if warm sun. Quickly he lay out the blanket he had brought and set the basket on it.

He looked over to see if she had heard him. Hopefully she did, he could go get her if needed though. He hoped he wouldn't do something stupid though, it could get quite embarrassing if he did.

No shoes. Shoes just ruined the fun of sand. Sasha had debated actually putting shoes on, but she had shaken her head at that. She hated shoes, they were just another way for her powers to be trapped. Right now she was walking along the beach in her bare feet. She was wearing a black dress that cut off at her knees and as usual she was wearing her black glove. In one hand she was holding her violin case, with an actual violin in it, and in the other hand she had nothing. Today she carried no weapons, well she had her violin case, but that wasn't really a weapon, except for when it had to be.

Suddenly Sasha felt the consistancy of the sand shift. She leaned down and shifted her fingers through the sand and then she found a seashell. Sasha smiled at it. She ran her fingers over the surface. She liked this one. It had an interesting texture. Sasha closed her fingers around it as she heard Ren calling to her. She got up and ran over to where he was. He ran her foot through the sand and felt that it was more dry then other spots on the beach. When Ren layed that blanket out she sat down happily on it.

Sasha smiled up at Ren. "I like this spot." She stated happily. She lay the seashell down on the ground and tucked her legs underneath her. She set the case down beside her and waited to see what Ren would say, or if he would say anything at all.

Ren smiled as she sat down and sat down himself too. He took a deep, relaxed breath as he sat silently for a slight moment. "I like this spot too. It's nice and warm." He said softly as the warmth heated his thick, black hair. "So uhm... Did you have a good rest last night? How was your day as well?" He asked her nervously. He figured he was going to be nervous at this point like he usually was anyways.

He opened the basket with the food and rummaged through, pulling out a steak sandwich he had gotten made for himself. "You want your sandwich by the way?" He asked Sasha. Yup, that name still has a sweet and beautiful ring to it. Definitely defines her well... He thought to himself. He looked at her and smiled happily. He enjoyed this already, and they had only sat down so far. Maybe this would be great for Ren to experience. He closed his eyes for a moment and thought about his luck that lead him to this very point.

When Ren stated that it was nice and warm Sasha nodded. Even though to him it would probably be the perfect temperature, to her it was quite hot. Her hightened senses making it that way. She sometimes found that part of her powers annoying, but she wouldn't give them up because of it. She needed her powers. Sasha was then aware of Ren still talking. She snapped back to him, away from her thoughts. Was he asking her how her day went? She chuckled lightly. He had even asked her how she slept. He was so polite. She had to think about that one. Her day she had spent her time in classes and trying to figure out how to let the outside world know about this place, and she had slept just fine.

"Good, and you?" She said, leaving out the details. She didn't think he wanted to hear about what she did in every class. If he did then she'd probably just tell him what classes she had been in, what perfects she had yelled at. He probably didn't want to know that though, not many people cared about the minor details. She didn't think he did either. Sasha heard him rummage through the basket. When he pulled out his sandwhich it smelled like a steak one, probably had some meat along those lines. She nodded. Her hand fumbled around in the basket and then she found the shape of a sandwhich. She pulled it out. This sandwhich was a simple eggsalad sanwhich. It wasn't her favorite, but it was one of her more liked.

Ren nodded as she replied to him simply. "I've been good. "Not too much happening for me either." He explained to her before taking a nice bite of his sandwich. The juicy flavors of the meat flowed over his tongue and he couldn't help but purr like a cat. The joyous rumbling in his throat reverberated into the surrounding air. He gulped once he had chewed his bite nice and well. Quickly he wiped his mouth with a napkin to clear away the food bits.

"Uhm... Sasha?" He asked as he used her name to address her, which was near rare for him to do. "Do you, uhm... Well I mean uh... Have you ahh... Ever... Kissed anyone?" He asked her nervously. He wanted to do it actually, kiss her that is, but he was also nervous. Along with what she saw in the act of such. This was sudden he knew, but he was a curious person too.

Ren replied with the same simple answer she had. She smiled. Not a very exciting day for him either apparently. Suddenly there was a rumbling noise. Her eyesbrows raised and then she realized that it was purring. Sasha giggled a little. She had never heard a person purr before. She found it cute. Sasha took a small bite out of her sandwhich. She tried to copy his purr, but it didn't exactly work, more just sounded like she was growling. This made her chuckle a tiny bit. Then Sasha heard her name. She quieted herself and turned her face to him, whiping her mouth with a napkin too.

At his studdering Sasha smiled a little. She waited for him to get out what he was trying to say. "Ever... Kissed anyone?" Sasha was seriously stunned. She had never kissed anybody, no, but she had a feeling that this was the same thing as when he asked her on a date. She was really surprised. Going on a date seemed like a lot of fun, but kissing somebody? Sasha realized that she had been quiet for a long time, and probably with a dumb look on her face. "N-no." She stammered quickly. She had licked people, but that was only on the cheek, and most of those time the people thought she was insane and she had only licked them to to figure out what they were like. Sasha had never kissed anybody though.

Ren looked away shyly when she too hesitated a bit about his question. He felt quite nervous now, did he just do something wrong already? He surely hoped not, since he didn't want to ruin this. He listened as she stammered a simple "no" to his question on kissing. His mind whirled with things as he wondered what he could do next at this point to hopefully ease the situation. Although he really wasn't sure how to do that.

"You have a really cute face!" He blurted outloud to her. Really? Cute face? Why am I so stupid! How will that ease the tension! Stupid, stupid, stupid!! He thought to himself as he gave his head several light bonks. He wasn't good in social situations like this, but he wanted to make it less awkward.

He shook his head furiously as he cleared his mind a bit. "Sorry!" He exclaimed to her as he thought things over. "Just don't- don't feel- w- weird... It will get b- b- bett-" He stammered as he tried to calm things down. Frankly, all he could do now is place his head on his knees and of course, cry.

Ren was silent for a second. Sasha could here him hitting himself lightly and frowned. She wondered if he was doing that because of her reaction to his question, which she was still mulling over in her mind. At the first sound of words Sasha was listening again. When he told her that she had a cute face she blushed. She was trying to think of how to reply to that, something like a thank you she guessed. She opened her mouth to reply to it when suddenly she heard Ren crying this made Sasha frown. She had been warned by Ren himself that he cried alot. Sasha scooted closer to him and put her arm around his shoulder, trying to think of the right words for te situation. "Ren you're over reacting." She said softly as she brushed away some some of his tears. "You asked a simple question and it took me by surprise, that's all. I never said anything harsh that should have made you in this state. I think you're one of the nicest guys I've ever met, but it's all going a little fast. How about we continue and we can learn a little about each other?"

Sasha was trying to sense his emotions through her touch with him. She was trying to guess. If he was going to overreact to what she had said or if he was going to calm down. She was still gently whipping away the stream of tears with her thumb. She hoped she didn't poke his eye out or something. She was being as gentle as she could. She felt bad for Ren. He probably thought he had done something wrong, but in truth he had done nothing wrong at all. If anything it was her fault for this. She shouldn't have been so stunned by his question. "And thanks for saying I have a cute face." She said with a warm smile.

Ren sniffled a little before breathing deeply and eventually settling, faster than normal for him. "O- okay..." He sniffed again and dryed off his eyes. Maybe he could become a bit more emotionally strong by being with Sasha. He did his usual thing of shaking his head to clear it out of any jumbled thoughts. "Sorry..." He muttered, feeling a heavy disappointment in himself for losing his cool so easily.

"So, uh, have you ever had to fight anyone? It sounds interesting having to fight on stronger senses with no eyesight." He admitted oddly. He thought about her in the sense like her becoming one of the top sparring students in the school. He himself was a decent fighter, but nothing too good. Better at dodging and using quick strikes to counter due to his enhanced agility. Zoopathy wasn't too helpful in combat overall, but what comes around goes around.

He thought of a fun idea at that very moment actually. "We should have a wrestling match!" He blurted cheerfully. Yeah, he sounded like a kid again, but he loved to just horse around for the fun of it. It seemed to never truly get boring for him no matter how many times he did it. Besides, he figured Sasha was good enough to pin him at least once or twice. So why not give it a go was what he figured.
