Is It Hot In Here Or... (Nova/Yami)

Jace stood in the gym, having just finished a light work out. Prefects needed to stay in shape, and Jace was no exception. He used a towel to wipe the light sweat he had worked up away and tossed it back. Some cardio to start with and then work on strength. While not huge or bulky, Jace was fit and lean, more apt for prolonged exercise than strength. Jace jumped up and grabbed the pull up bar. He began to pump out pull ups as he began his strength training.

Jace thought about his sister. He hadn't found out any info about her since he had been in the academy. He was getting frustrated with the lack of information he had. He didn't know where she was, her conditions, or even what she was like. All he got was a picture every month and a small letter. Jace finished his pull ups and grunted in annoyance as he dropped down to the ground. He growled and noticed the training dummies around the room. Jace smirked. A way to relieve his stress.

He wasn't in his much recognized outfit. He had on a black muscle shirt and a pair of black gym pants on. He was wearing sneakers, and a blue headband. He gritted his teeth a bit and began to unleash a barrage of gravity pulses at the dummies, sending them flying toward the opposite wall that they exploded on impact. He sent wave after wave, hitting each dummy per wave, wasting no energy but throwing himself into each blast. He finished a few seconds later, heaving in each breath. He was somewhat satisfied, but that had taken a lot out of him.

Nova was walking along the corridor, minding her own business. Not really. It was after curfew and she had just back from sneaking to the lunch room to sneak a couple cup-cakes. She was licking her fingers currently and grinning as the chocolaty goodness warmed her belly. She loved chocolate, especially warm chocolate. Nova just hoped she wouldn't get caught.

Not that she was afraid or anything, it was mostly just an inconvenience. She could either frighten or persuade most any prefect to leave her alone. There were a couple, like perhaps Jace and Lady Une, that would be insistent, but she could easily create a diversion to escape. Then she would lie low for a couple days after that before continuing her normal activities, which normally including skipping afternoon classes and late-night kitchen raids.

Nova heard a commotion as she passed the gym, and her curiosity got the better of her. She walked up to the door and listened in, hearing some sort of object being smashed into the near wall. She peaked in to see none other than Jace Beleren throwing practice dummies into the wall so hard that they broke. Of course, he was observant, and would have noticed her as well. She opened the door and walked in, not even wincing when a shard of wood shot past her face and nicked her cheek, causing a small droplet of blood to come out.

Nova wiped it and the cut was gone before she was finished. She eyed Jace over. She had never seen him without his big cloak, and she had to say that he was quite good-looking. The eyes might have been a little off-putting if she had not had glowing eyes herself, and his build was attractive to the eye. She grinned and approached him more, stopping a mere ten feet away from him.

"Jace Beleren. Why am I not surprised to see you here?" Nova said in a sultry voice. Nova had always been a 'I want it, and I want it now' kind of girl. She thought Jace was good-looking, and she wanted to rub her hands on those muscles. She winked at him as she stalked closer, approaching the heaving, sweaty man.
