Melody hauled herself out to the courtyard in a tiresome manner. She was tired after unpacking her things in the dormitories and now she wanted to relax. It was mid-day at about 11:45 or so. She looked around for a place to sit, choosing a bench nearby.

"This is so tiring!" She complained to herself, her small body not used to lugging heavy things. She was much better at running though just straight out. She leaned back and rested against the bench. She let out a sigh as she closed her eyes for a bit.

She was a small girl, rather short for her age at this point. She was pretty cute though due to that, and she loved blue things. One could tell by her blue clothing, with the large blue bow around her waist.

The day had been alright so far. Classes and what not. Well Logan hadn't exactly been found of learning in some of the classes but what could he say he and the left side of his brain did not get on at all. So he was headed to the courtyard to cool off a bit and play some music. That made everything better and he might even make a few friends!

Sitting down on the ground in a Indian style position he freed his guitar from the beat up old case that had been holding it. Smiling softly he got situated and started tuning it. Not long after he sat and thought for a moment on what he should play. Deciding on something other than his original work he fingers stated to gently pluck the the strings beneath them.

The song he started to play was Kryptonite By 3 Doors Down. It's not like it held any real meaning, well at the moment but it was one of his favorite songs. And apparently a few other students as the came a bit closer to him getting lost in his music. Opening his eyes after he played the last few cords he looked up asked, "Any requests?"

Melody looked up and heard someone playing a guitar, an interesting tune coming towards her. She got up with a light sigh and followed her ears to the location of the music. She looked past a group of students to see a boy sitting with his guitar. When he finished he asked for requests, so Melody stepped forth. "Could I make one?" She asked in a soothing and light tone to the boy sitting.

She knelt down in front of him, a mischievous look in her eyes. "Why don't we go somewhere alone, then you would have my request filled~" She said cutely. Reaching a hand over she took a small wisp of his hair and fondled it in her fingers. She smiled at him, looking into his eyes warmly.

Eyes turning to a lovely girl, quite small in size he smiled sweetly, "Of course you can." He loved that someone liked his playing enough to make an actual request. Logan hadn't thought anyone would take him up on his offer merely shrug and walk away if he didn't start playing again soon. Oh so little faith in himself. Ah well what were you going to do?

Taken a back when she knelt down in front of him he shifted slightly making more room. Out of the corner of his eye he saw some of the people from the tiny group leave. Oh well... He thought his eyes staying on the girl as a smile stayed on his face. At her request he was a little surprised but ah what should he say? "Oh um..." His eyes widened slightly as she started playing with his hair. "I- ah- sure," He said still keeping his voice cheerful. "If that's what you want. Where did you have in mind?"

Melody giggled sweetly and smiled at him again. "Why don't we go over to the bench, big boy~" She chimed sweetly with a grin. She tugged lightly on his shirt sleeve to get him in motion. "You're pretty cute you know~" She said sweetly. It was like she was in a trance or something. Her body felt like it was heating up slightly as she looked at the boy. Her eyes glowed with strong feeling as she breathed slowly.

"Why don't you put that guitar down for a sec." She sighed while pushing his instrument to the side a bit. She scooted up close to him to where she could sit on his lap. Her face came within just inches of his as she puffed a bit of air into his face. Her face flustered into a bright red, not embarrassment though.

Big boy? He questioned in his head. "Sorry the name's Logan," He smiled at her and nodded. Standing up he complied to her tug and walked over to the bench. "Erm a thank you.." he said eyes still a bit wide. He watched her body language as he sat down guitar in between them. Maybe he could use it as a barrier because he wasn't that into randomly kissing girls. But that hope was dashed as she pushed it away. Quickly gripping it so it didn't fall to the ground he placed it gently on the ground not watching as she came closer to him.

Looking back at her she was inches away from him. "Ahh..." He muttered eyes wide as he felt a breath of warm coat his face. "Ah look, Miss, i dont think we had the same idea." He said a sweetly as he could. He lightly shuffled her off his lap and inched away. "I'm in a relationship with my music at the moment and not looking for another."

Melody sighed and nodded in understanding. "Alright then..." She said in disappointment. She instantly perked back up though as a smile lightened her face again. "I'm Melody by the way." She said smiling in a friendly way. She pushed a bit if her hair back around her shoulders. It was so warm right now~

"So, you play guitar too I see?" She asked Logan excitedly. She loved to play her guitar a lot too, but singing wasn't her thing. She never really was good at singing anyways, but she tried sometimes, in the shower anyways. Although she preferred to keep that fact to herself only.

He felt horrible for a moment hearing the sigh and seeing the disappointment across her features. He hated when he made people upset even in the slightest. But he smiled sweetly as she perked back up, "Thank you," He said and then nodded, "Nice to meet you Melody, lovely name. Like i said just call me Logan." At least she seemed okay with the friendly turn of things. Turning to the subject of his music smiled very happily.

"Yes! I play, sing, and write. Music is my life." He said getting happier by the second. "Do you play anything? Or maybe sing?" He grinned and pulled up his guitar again plucking at the strings. "Would you like to give it a try?" He had to make up the little mistake from moments ago. And it wasn't like he gave over his guitar to just anyone either so Logan felt it was more than enough.

Melody smiled delightedly when she heard he also sang and wrote too. "Wow! That's so cool that you do all that stuff!" D
She exclaimed excitedly. She looked at Logan with admiration shining in her eyes. She could only just play and that was pretty much about it.

When she was handed the guitar she took it happily. "Wow! This is gonna so be super fun!" She said picking at the instrument lightly. She could already play like a beast, but she wanted to surprise him. She plucked a few more times to warm up a bit. Then she went into a full song, to be exact it was Paranoid by Black Sabbath.

She plucked her fingers on the strings expertly, releasing the awesome sound known as music. She smiled as she remembered each chord as exact as she could get them, happy at her skill that seemed to be used so long ago. Once she was able to finish up the song she handed the guitar back. "Thanks." She said cheerily.

He laughed at her gently. It wasn't like he was that talented. He wished he was but sadly he wasn't. Oh well if people enjoyed it that's all that mattered right? Right. As he handed over his guitar (AKA his pride and joy) all past problems seemed to be erased. That had been the goal and seeing how it was accomplished it was all good now!! Which made the young boy grin from ear to ear.

He wasn't sure if she could play or not so this was an experiment too. But his jaw slacked a bit and dropped as she started playing. Wow she was really good. And Black Sabbath! Not one of those crappy modern day music that's all chorus. Logan was liking her more and more just not in ya know the way from earlier. Anyway... All too soon the wonderful sounded and he was handed back his guitar. "Well someone can play," He grinned at her. He looked down at his guitar and started playing, Dream on by Aerosmith. He watched waiting to see what her reaction to the song would be. To really see what her taste in music was. About half way through the song he kind of got lost in the music and started sing it.

Melody smiled as he started playing Dream On. She was more into faster paced songs herself, but some were okay. She closed her eyes and rocked her head back back and forth in motion. She sighed as she felt herself relax a bit in the shaded bench area. He was quite good at singing, whether he said he wasn't or not.

"You can sing quite well, and you can't deny that!" She said adoringly to him once he finished. She clapped lightly and very enthusiastically at his wonderful performance. "By the way, can I call you Lolo?" She pleaded to him looking up at him with cute puppy eyes. She smiled sweetly to add to the effect.

Opening his eyes he was quite happy to see she was swaying slightly and really got into the song. That's how music was suppose to make people feel and see that he did that just made him feel awesome. When Melody complemented him he couldn't help but blush slightly. "No no i can and i will. I have a long way to go... i'm not that good..." His self confidence was so low but he really did feel that way. His singing would probably never be good enough for him. Oh well...

He was caught off guard when Melody asked to call him a nickname. He had only heard people trying to call him Loggy before... not that big of a fan of it but still he didn't object to being called that. Lolo... that sounded like a dog and a bit girly.. Well if she liked it and wanted to call him that who was he to stop her? Never mind it was his name or anything just to make Melody happy. "If you want but does that mean i can call you Mel?" He grinned back at her but could never have accomplished that cute look of hers.

"Yay! Yeah, you can call me Mel!" She said with a sweet smile. She giggled happily as she looked at him. "You really are good at singing though. You know it, you just don't like to say so! Don't be so passive about it!" She said cheerfully as she looked him in the eyes. She smirked when she was struck with a sudden idea at that point.

"Why don't you put on a recital?!" She exclaimed to him. That was her idea, to have Lolo put on a recital, and she would do it with him if he wanted. She was hoping Logan would put on a recital to show his skills. "Please, Lolo. Won't you do it?" She said cutely and pleadingly.

Seeing the girl in front made Logan happy as well. If he could cheer someone up or make the feel good the he would do it. And seeing as how just a simple nickname made her happy he get like he was doing something right today. But whe she mentioned that he was a good singer he just simply shook his head. "No In really not." he stated quietly to Mel. Then she looked him in the eye and he held it for a moment before looking down plucking randomly at his guitar strings. Why must se go and say that when it wasnt true?

He looked back up when she mentioned something about a Recital. That sounded fun at first he eve grinned but then a thought stuck him. What if there were lots and lots of people? They would all see him fail ad look like a deer caught in headlights! Much like the look he was taking on now. He had yet to mention anything about his stage fright. Gulping once he looked down watching his fingers, "Um how many people are we talking about here?" he questioned voice kind of quiet. He didn't want to disappoint Mel but he couldn't do it if there wee lots and lots of people there watching him.

Melody thought about the idea of how many people. "Well, as many as can come! Since a lot of people should hear your talent!" She chimed joyfully. She wondered why he was acting so odd at the idea of a recital. "I know you can pull it off." She stated determinedly. "I believe in you Lolo. You can totally do it!" She finished to try and persuade him.

She scooted closer to him and smiled sweetly and looked up at him pleadingly. "Please?~ I can preform with you if you want?" She said cutely. She really wanted him to do this and feel more comfortable in his talent and not so modest. She was intent on him doing this and not many things could change her mind.
