Not The Average Friends (Open)

Ren sat in the tree staring into the woodland area. He was expecting someone, but not a human. He was waiting for a wolf he talked to a lot. It was around 8:30 at night he figured. Well, wherever Softlight was, he didn't mind waiting.

Softlight was usually late anyways, since her pack needed her as their alpha female. Hopefully she would see him in the tree. He had actually climbed higher than usual since he was practicing something he learned. Strangely he felt a presence, like he wasn't alone.

Suki clambered down some rocks, knocking a few from their places. She use her free arm to guide herself down the stones, for in her other hand was her sketchbook and pencils. Suki had always enjoyed coming out into the forest to draw. It was relaxing and quiet, and a great place to go to get away from all that "Prefect v.s. Battle Front" nonsense.

As Suki weaved through the loose branches, she caught a glimpse of something, something in a tree. It couldn't have been a bird, for it had been much too big. Shifting her gaze upwards, Suki noticed a boy, perched in the branches above her. She was shocked to have found someone else out here, though she was also quite curious. Why was he sitting in a tree, staring off into the distance? For the slightest moment, Suki wondered if she should climb up to him, though she didn't dare. Besides, she didn't even know how to climb trees.

Ren perked up as he saw the canid coming at an easy lope. The wolf was big, with thick light grey fur that seemed to shine with health. "Softlight, great to see you!" He jumped down, but noticed the wolf was growling at something nearby. Looking over to see what it was he spotted a girl!

He let out a dominant snarl to the wolf before praising her passiveness with a gentle whine. Then he looked over to the girl warily. "Who are you might I ask?" He said, a tense defensive tone took his voice over. He hoped this girl wasn't here to hurt the canine. If she was, then he could have none of that.
